@@ToolswithSoAlzoh I agree with that it only makes sense when it's for a tool that don't know what makes batteries and you have to buy aftermarket like Craftsman when TTI made the tools if other than that not really
This is how I look at it okay most claims of 21,700 cells are not always true for the most part I have 18 650 and the output configuration is always less than what they advertise if they say 4.0 it's really 3.0 if that that's the truth from my experience

The performance of the knockoff battery is not as good as the original in terms of driving performance, as shown a real 2 ah doing better than the aftermarket 8 ah. Furthermore, the charge life expectancy of the knockoff battery is shorter. Considering the safety aspect, it is better to purchase the original battery.

@@ToolswithSoAlzyou buy the biggest ah you can find put that into account it may be less than what is advertised if it's 8.0 it's probably a 6.0 it if it's a 6.0 will perform as a 4.0 I am sure the cells are most likely 18 650 I don't know which brand does have 21700 cells good for that I don't rest cuz you can void your warranty and that is a guarantee
My knock off batteries die out after 5 months….not brand knocking but vol.

It's hard to tell what brands are good in the aftermarket I had one a couple years that I got for free as a test product but if I had to purchase it I would not
