It's a shame this show got overshadowed by so many "star studded" broadway productions this year. This is one of the best shows to hit Broadway in some time.

It would have done much better with the critics if they had made Julia a lesbian and added a "person of color" to the band.

@@theatrain1323 jimmy is gay and jo is a lesbian and on tour jimmy is black, the diversity isn’t the best but it’s there

This show deserved a longer run.

This is a terrific number. (And theater freaks like me love the pop-up info.) Will be in NYC in early October -- hope to see BANDSTAND then.

Why they close the show?? This is something amazing!

This is so awesome! I love this song. I wish every showtune would get a Pop Up Video.

Saw it and loved it. The stage is constantly FULL of song and dance.

I saw Bandstand when it was on Papermill Playhouse. Before it was on Broadway. And I can just say. I loved it!

This show is so great, I'm starting my own swing band.

I wish

i wish this could come back on broadway

Just watched a streaming version of the musical through AARP. This was fantastic! I hope it tours, eventually.

Incredible!!

I guess the good news is that they filmed it and showed the film twice in selected theaters. If the tour goes off as scheduled than after it concludes they'll probably make it available for streaming from Broadway HD or some other site. Maybe it will be for sale on Amazon.

So excited to see it on tour!

Ahhh I don't live in the States and couldn't see it (But I will be there for the newsies live encore thingy... guess I'll just watch Newsies for the 100th time). Anyway, got any clue if and when it will be released on digital?
