@@swayam5394 what sense ....SKY in odi - avg - 24, strike rate - 102, fifties -2.. Samson in odi - avg -56, strike rate - 104, fifties - 3 And Tilak Varma is playing for MI only, and not even played odi cricket ...still included in the squad for a major tournament Pls think logically and have sense

@@kalak395 this Sanju crying needs to stop. I agree sky is not that great as of now in odi but he is an x- factor and on his day can turn the game around anytime. Leave aside Sky for a moment. Sanju is a Wicketkeeper and a number 5 player. And what better he will be doing than kl Rahul. Recent bad performs of kl at the top order has given him the term choker but Sanju is no less. Sanju is a second option and never was the first contender for being in the 11. And tilak is a Backup for number 4/5 and he needs tbr game that's why he is the squad.

How can you select KL Rahul for an international match if he is not completely fit from injury . He should play in domestic to prove his fitness. If Gill and Rohit are selected for opening slot ,then what is the role of Ishan Kishan? He is not good in middle order. But Sanju proved that he is best middle order wk Batter in Odi . Surya Kumar proved many times that he is not an Odi player. Early selection for Tilak Varma into Odi ,but he has to practice a lot in his weakness ie batting against short pitch deliveries. Another repeating mistake is considering Hardik for Captaincy or Vice captaincy ie a player with zero on-ground tactics . He doesn't know ..when & how to use his bowlers.

I think R. Aswin might have included in place of Axar Patel as Aswin is more perfect and experienced bowler, batter. Also one left arm fast bowler like Arshdeep Singh could be included instead of Shardul Thakur. I think Shardul's body fitness is poor. India may suffer the consequences.

Don’t mix formats.KL Rahul’s form in ODIs has been very good and he has been consistent at whichever number they bat him,,,his Stats are there for everyone to see --45 at opening,at 4-40+ and at 5-53 so he’s scored runs at whichever number he’s batted and mind you in the past 8 years he’s played, he has never got a consistent run at a specific position ….eg-before 2019 WC ,he was a backup opener but then was made number-4 in the WC ,batted at no.-6 in the 1st match then straight away had to open in the next as Shikhar got injured ,in 2020-21 Aus and Nz series he was shifted to number 5 because there was no stability and he performed there also,,,,in T20s also he got chances late because Dhawan was preferred for a long time and when he got it was not consistent …he played at no-4 and scored a century against WI,played at 3 and scored a 100 vs Eng ,,,opened and scored 95 vs Sri Lanka and 75 vs Eng it was after 2019 he got a consistent run in T 20s ,,,,only in the test he has got a consistent run as an opener ……..He scored 78 against Bangladesh in Bangladesh on pitch where everyone else failed and almost had India Winning that game,,,,he scored a match winning -75* against Sri Lanka when the top order failed and same he did in the 2nd ODI bs Australia when left arm swing had the top order reeling,so don’t be a hater and watch his stats speak for themselves and also he is the most flexible proven -all format player at the moment …..SKY has done nothing in ODIs and he himself admitted that still is there in the Squad ,,,why not say about that instead of being a blind hater
