Africa is not home for all black Americans, because black Americans are not African! Aboriginals were lready here before black people are not exclusive to the African continent, that is white supremacist ideology!FBA use our money for our people here and if Africans can start respecting our culture respect we are a different group we can help them and other melanated people after! It's enough Africans to build their own! I don't support Socialism, because it involves tethering off others and usually the ones tethering end up ungrateful and disrespectful to those that allow them to tether! It always ends up bad! Africans are in the Uk and all threw Europe you should bring them back because most can really trace their lineage back there, the focus should not be on us constantly, it's a one-sided obsession that makes my people feel like they are being used, we have helped out enough! We want to see you build your own!

When the sister said that people here don’t get what we go through in the states. I agree with her. I’m a Ghanaian living in the states and I can tell you that when I was in Ghana I didn’t know what black Americans go through here until I moved to America. It’s terrible. But I can tell you that when white people come to Africa they made themselves look like angels and they were good and loved people. Well, it’s not like that in America. I wish a lot of media in Africa will show a lot of stuff that black Americans go through here so that they’ll get it.

When you go to the local markets they don't have price tags on their items so when they see that you're from overseas the price goes up which is wrong but the local government has to do something about this. The majority of Ghanaians think that when you're from overseas you're definitely rich. But it's not like that. For me being here and working so hard made me realize that life isn't easy everywhere. For example , the University of Cape Coast just neat him had a telephone exchange that operated 24/7. You could go there and make international calls. Brother that may be true but that is not the issue he was raising. We all know that but for how long do we continue using their warped views. In Zimbabwe when we got indepence and over the years we renamed a lot of streets. So if you go to Harare you will see the main roads are Nelson Mandela, Kwame Nkrumah, Samora Machel, Julius Nyerere, Kenneth Kaunda to list a few of our African heroes. These are all streets and avenues that were formely named after British colonialists. We have a brain to think and change the things that are in our power to do otherwise we come across as weak.

That’s awesome.
I plan on visiting Africa soon but Iam not sure where I’m Africa. This video is helpful and informative. The gentleman reminds me of my father with his wisdom.

I would love to take my family to Ghana but they are adults with their own families. Own race has been so damaged! Separated from our homes and split apart! How can I as a female senior and single who has a desire to go "home" leave my family here? Sad predicament for me and them

Sister Brenda, you have so many sisters here who have the same situation that you have but if God open up your eyes then you must move and your children will see your blessing and if they don’t see it that’s not your situation it is there I’m not trying to be harsh. I’m just trying to tell you the truth because we all are dealing with the same issue.

@@reubenyitzchak True. Ultimately we have one life to live. You cannot sacrifice your happiness because someone does not share your vision. If they are grown they can visit. I am assuming you are the gentleman who was being interviewed. Great conversation. You said one of your sons has not visited. If you dont mind why is that, airline tickets are not that expensive. Does he have medical reasons or he drank the kool aid about African being a dump or "sh*thole" as the crazy Trump described our continent which they rely on to make all the technology that makes their lives easier.
Moi je suis de la côte .d'Ivoire . Mais je vous regarde depuis la France. Merci.
