You must be joking, Sunak has driven the UK economy into the abyss - huge unsustainable national debt, inflation out of control, largest treasury fraud in history, an energy crisis, highest taxes since the 1950s, recession or depression to come. He created the mess that is going to hit over the next few years to come and you want him as PM !?

I am a supporter of Mr Sunak for the job of Prime Minister because I think his background as a successful Chancellor of the Exchequer will make him a more accurate and better financial planner. Plus he appears to be less vocal in his desire to get the United Kingdom (UK) involved in potential wars, and more likely to keep the UK and the world safe. On the contrary Mrs Truss is rather hawkish about standing up to aggressors, and less likely to press for negotiated ends to existing conflicts in the world, which are urgently needed. For the above reasons, I think Mr. Sunak should be chosen for the job of Prime Minister.

She's still making excuses about her bad civil service regional pay cut proposals - yet she never ever admits to being wrong! 🙄 If her policy was, as she claims, misrepresented, then surely she should have been able to explain what she really intended without any need for it to be scrapped? Could future hustings have interviewers like Kay, who will ask critical and intellectual questions to test the validity of the promises made by these candidates? It was perfectly clear that Liz's promises have no real basis. More grilling should be done in future hastings to understand 'real' Liz.

If they still miss it place them back on waiting right at the back (now this should also depend on age, heath problem I.E. how serious is it... A fine !! Shows that what you care is money and not poor work class.

Rishi, you said nothing about the small businesses, they are having endless trouble to export to EU. There is this endless queue of lorries stuck at dover. Paperwork drives the small businesses round the bend, businesses are having to employ more people, lack of drivers causing delivery trucks not in full use. I wish you tell us if you have any policy to find a work round, if necessary negotiating with the EU, because this matter is urgent. It holds up national income from export.

Social housing stock hasn't remotely kept up with increasing demand year after year due to mass migration. With the right to buy people who would have easily rented a council property now find themselves having to rent privately in ex-council properties at higher rents. There MUST be massive investment in council property replacement but by building up with apartment blocks as land in our small island is always an issue. I live in Leeds and have watched multiple luxury apartment blocks go up in and around the city centre with many of them empty and used as investments. There have also been many new student apartment blocks built too but what about the poor and working class? If I see a huge investment in council property replacement it will go a long way to get my vote. That along with effect deportation of illegal immigrants and criminals and reform of the asylum system to stop the massive fraudulent abuse by economic migrants. If you want to live and work in the country then do it the RIGHT WAY. It's not racist to want migrants to enter the right way and not by breaking the law. Why do we want people who are ok with breaking the law to jump the queue to enter the country?

You don't understand how things work, The government won't allow the building of council housing because it will drive down the housing market also people will not take on mortgages which is a major money maker for the Banks and the government, Ask yourself why is it the housing market is not included with the inflation? Why the BOE uses QE and 0 interest rate? to give the banks free money to lend and people take on the loan at a low rate, Before Blair opened the gate to easter European people were complaining about immigrants taking housing jobs and all that, then over a million come in, where did they found a place to live, work, a school for their children and so on? You forget one thing people die millions die each year and there are more older people than young ones, in the decade to come you will be bagging people to come to work they say be careful of what you wish for. just a thought
