The fact that the Tory party cannot get rid of him or force him to resign speaks volumes about the arcane nature of how the party is structured; and a total lack of any real democratic processes within it. It beggars belief that the party cannot call a EGM to discuss the successor to Boris. They should have done this by now. The evidence against Boris is piling up. What are they waiting for? I assume then that most Tories still fully support him. This tells you everything about what many in the party stand for; and the fact alot of them are from privledged backgrounds where following democratic 'norms' doesn't apply. It's another world. Unfortunately it's a world which still has total control over the future destiny of the UK. It's mind boggling. Yet people out there still support this idiot leader. I don't understand. Do they like being held in contempt? ....or welcome another ten years of more pain and austerity?? Because this is what we will all get if the Tories are voted back in at the next general election.

what do you mean you cut the effective tax on universal credit BoJo? the tax bracket starts at £12,500 a year, universal credit only pays just under £5000 a year. just enough to not starve these days with the raise in prices across the board.

Get temporary measures for a wee while so he can look good and then make out someone else is being unreasonable because they won’t do exactly what he wants rather than him honouring the deal he personally made!

It can be construed that they know it's going to be a problem four years down the line, and expect them to lose the next general election. Labour would be in power (or a co-illition) and the tories will be able to blame labour for the impact of energy bills, which the tories introduced themselves

Of course she doesn't have decency - she was a terrible Home Secretary, sending out vans with racist messages and deporting people who'd been here all their lives. She happens to be nearly as big a liar as Johnson - she's just subtler about it. I obviously wouldn't tarnish all Tories with the same brush - I'd use a cannon. Don't think there are moral Tories - there aren't. May just looks better in comparison. The only good tory is a lavatory - because it doesn't create shit, it takes it away.
