Its an eye opening technology that should be exploited more. Very educative presentation and I applaud you and the contractor for exposing us to a cheaper, beautiful and long lasting alternative. Bravo guys!!
That's dedication right there. Fantastic work Nick.
Hi Nick and Chomba. Another informative video. Chomba, that idea of steel channels in the floor has really set me for the precast panels for sure. Initially l was sceptical of how the panel settled on the floor. Other videos showed pegs through the precast panel holes and then filled with concrete. This self-designed system of your is a definite plus. Definitely going to do precast now following your c-channel in the slab formation. Thank you guys,

Taking advantage of slopes can optimize the design and the experiences of the spaces within a house. The best architectural built forms take advantage of slopes, unfortunately, Kenyans are afraid of slope, but as architects, slopes allow us to develop beautiful concepts
I look forward to the final stage although I am enjoying the progress. I thought it was tiles outside; great idea. I am excited to know project cost break down. Thank you for all you do.

I agree that 7m is not cheap, in fact the price shown is 7.8m which is closer to 8m. The final price of your house depends on what finishing's are used and other features in the house. This house has many huge windows and some windows span from the ground to the ceiling. This is a very expensive feature. The type of foundation can also be the most expensive part of house. You saw some areas of the house where the foundation was deeper than Nick's height. The amount and type of tiles, bathroom fixtures and lighting features also can significantly add to cost.
Amazing work
Nick continue with the content. More blessing

I only have one problem, ask the Builder to keep the site clean, especially on the concrete slab, it is very easy for a worker to get injured, Yes, I know, safety, safety, safety, is killing profit, but if your best worker gets injured you will have to be there all the time instead of sourcing material.

I like these concrete panels for cost and speed for most projects however the use of wooden scaffold for support of the panels raise a serious issue on health and safety for the workers. If that panel collapses on someone leg the damage will be unbearable than a brick.
