This year I'm turning 50. One of the few things I really feel passionate about and look forward to, is new Watain releases. This song is an epic masterpiece. Selim's spirit is lingering in it.
This is going to be one of Watain's best albums. How can you deny, at this point, that Watain has cemented themselves as a pinnacle and milestone in the story of black metal?
Every Watain song is like a ritual, a spiritual journey.

This had to be a very emotional video for Erik. Showing his best friend S.L and other past members of Live Watain lineup. What a damned journey they´ve been through! I only wish, that they had some footage of Jon in the video. WF/FW

The black metal version of 'Nothing Else Matters'.
Very raw but also very melodic, almost bluesy in parts (the guitar solo in particular). Eric's beautiful infernal mysticism shines through these poetic odes to the dark as usual. Watain are really pushing the boundaries of black metal into new and interesting territory while remaining true to the aggressive and primal spirituality that characterised the roots of the genre. Love it!
