Workers should wear protective clothes and mask. Proper tools and most importantly they should have a well maintained and neat functional space. And I hope the workers are paid well enough.

Cheap plastic bags will not exist in 5 years time even recycling plastic costs a lot of money and the carbon footprint left behind is more than the price of manufacturing a new bag. plastic is a great material we humans should be educated on how to use it and how to recycle it if plastic bags are found in oceans and causing marine life to die it's not the bags fault it's our fault for throwing it in the ocean it's time for the world to start teaching recycling not stop production of plastics.

Nice video. We use the fast pyrolysis plant Fpp02 for recycling plastic waste. It turns out fuel for hot water boilers.

We need such in every municipality and panchayat blocks of India. But workers should be properly equipped.

few minutes ago I was watching how recycling si done in Germany, people working there looked like insurgents recycling is done to preserve nature, energy in other terms human life, and I can see none on this video, imo it's doing more harm then good to everything else except the owners pocket maybe. it's pure shame and disgrace to make people work in such conditions.

If there's a rope with dirt attached to his foot or his hand, he's going to pull it into the machine.

The output of one machine dumps on the floor. The output of the next machine gets dumped on the floor. The final product gets dumped on the floor. Buckets and bins not a concept in this factory.

I can see all the safety measures in place to keep workers safe.

Such a dangerous workplace. Spinning blades within reach, shoddy wiring, toxic fumes, control panel placed over top of a hot extruder, no gloves, no proper footwear... the list goes on. This is why it's so cheap to manufacture in these countries. No concern about safety or the health of the workers.

Safety is not even a tertiary objective in many plants across India. But I wouldn't blame them. The way our economy is (I'm not calling it bad, but it ain't good either), most small scale manufacturers don't make enough to consider safety as an important agenda. Besides the govt is corrupt enough to let things slide. And taxes ....oof!! Where do I begin. One thing I am sure about is that India is not a business friendly market.

I saw a video on recycling plant in germany, compared to that it looks like stone age, its a shame how backward we are.

The industrial / manufacturing world is very rude to its own people across the world, underpaid, ugly environment, no proper food , unhygienic life ( no bathing for days) and fend for yourself if you suffer an accident. That's been happening all over the world for decades

Whoever says plastic recycling in India is costly and tedious jobs. People are doing that's great.

Suggestion for you 👉 If you add this shreded plastic in water , the other materials like dirt will dissolve in water and your shreded plastic becomes shiny and clean look and you can sell at profit

Get a second blue bin to leave under the shredder while you’re carrying the other bin to the other machine so you don’t have to scoop it up off the floor with your hands.

With proper management that recycling factory could do quite well.

Great machine put bags in on one end and then they come out the other end kind of fast.

It's pathetic to see that guy with no safety equipment or even a shower make his job easier, that company should be ashamed of it's self for not taking care the employees, I feel bad for that guy

It’s India, you know the saying it takes blood sweat and tears to produce something well in India there is a likelihood their products do actually have bits of their workers into the mixture

I wonder what more toxic chemicals are being added from those paper sacks that are being added to the shredded material? Far from recycling being good for the planet. Air pollution being one concern.

I believe they are doing the best with what they have..maybe adding a metal funnel near the machine intake so the employees hands aren't so close to the blades. ..Machine spacing would allow for hiring of more people and them not ruining into each other...plus it would also allow for the addition of new machinery for producing Plastic Roof tiles, Plastic Bricks for walk ways etc.

That guy should be careful, if some strapping got around one of his limbs... Look out .!
