First I would, like to wish my fellow Sanitation KZread friend South Bay Refuse a Happy Birthday today! Ever since I moved to the Harbor Area, he has helped me expand my channel in areas & haulers filmed.
This is one of many videos from my "2017 Summer of Sanitation."
Before I came to this route, I was at Ken Porter Auctions up the street on Carson St looking at some Ex. Torrance Transit Gillig Phantoms that were to be auctioned off. After I was done with that, I got on the Metro 246 & went south to the WM Friday Route in Carson. I didn't see any trucks along 223rd St - Sepulveda Blvd, but Eric told me there was a route on Lomita that is picked up in the afternoon, so I decided to head there.
When I got there I found 103915 on Green Waste with a cool driver. Then after that Truck went to a different area, I found 103954 on Trash with 104510 behind him collecting Recycling. I really didn't film 103954 as the driver was a little picky at me, but not sketchy. As I went to follow 104510, South Bay Refuse came to join me & told me that there is an area where there is more trucks, so we went there and found 104514. The driver was very chill, but hardly flipped lids. Since it was hot that day, I decided to call it a day.
Also the driver of 103954 took a photo of me as I was following 104510, but Eric told me that driver tends to pull jokes on Sanitation foamers, so no harm done or issue. A big thanks to all the Drivers for letting me film.
