Wasim’s accent has never been like a punjabi. That’s why i like him Also he lives in Karachi So he doesn’t seem to be pro-punjabi

I used to love Wasim's excitement when he would bold batsman. Both Wasim and Waqar Younis were great players when they played together.

My favourite fast bowler of all time

In the 34 years that I have watched cricket, Wasim Akram is the best fast bowler of the world. Better than Donald, Steyn, McGrath, Walsh, Waqar, Anderson. The only other bowler that comes close IMO is Ambrose. I didn’t see much of Hadlee or Marshall so can’t speak to them.

Its true that it was only Miandad who brough wasim akram to Pak cricket team. Otherwise wasim akram would spend all his life in club cricket

वाह क्या बात है साहेब खूप छान., after watching for so long to Mr. Vasim akram., saw the hidden talent of wasimbhai., high class funny stories., incident of coach, Jeff boycott and Imran Nazir was very nice., thanks for making me laugh at the midnights., regards from shri sachin Potdar Mumbai India.

One good thing Waseem, you have given great credit to Miandad. Miandad was no doubt greatest of the Sub-Continent

Sarfaraz Nawaz invented reverse swing then passed on to mudassar nazar / imran khan. Wasim learnt from above and then passed on the art to English bowlers at Lancashire Country. That's how boy from Burnley, James Anderson learnt reverse swing. Even zaheer khan taught reverse swing to James Anderson as said by James Anderson himself.
