Washington Today (5-2-24): President Biden: 'right to protest but not the right to cause chaos'

President Joe Biden says pro-Palestinian protesters on college campus have a right to protest peacefully and "dissent is essential for democracy," but it must "never lead to disorder," such as vandalism, violence, hate speech and other “chaos".

    He actually did say basically the same thing at the time, in summer 2020, when he was running for President. Just because you don't remember it doesn't mean it never happened.
