Forget Daniels phenomenal running ability. Take it completely out of the equation... this kid played in the SEC last year and put up the following numbers through the air: 236 of 327 (72.2%), 3,812 yards (11.7 ypa), 40 TD's, 4 INT's Seriously - 10:1 TD to INT ratio and 11.7 friggin' yards per ATTEMPT. That's absolutely insane. Oh yeah - and then there's the running ability...

The fact of the matter is it's literally impossible to fix every position in one offseason. Having said that with all the wheeling and dealing the brass has done to add draft capital they've done an outstanding job plugging as many holes as possible. The competence is hard to get used to.

I was really pissed during the draft but then I realized the master class level draft we had led by the savior Josh Harris. That was the best draft I have ever seen in Washington and I cannot wait to see this team on the field. #Johnnynewtonishim 💯💯💯

Draft a combination of BPA and need, with availability factored in. They tried trading up, but you don't want to be fleeced. Mathis is a bust, and we needed depth at DT for rotation, I think Allen and Payne played 90+% snaps, and what happens if one gets hurt? We drafted a lot of captains on their teams, leaders. If they thought EB was demanding, wait for these coaches. Bottom line, this was an A+ draft, we aren't starting the season next month, and Coleman can play LT this year and move to G if he is better there, like Schreff did on right side. There will be cap, post-draft, and 6/1 cuts, or we can trade if LT or RT is an issue by June. We have our future TE, DT, slot CB, slot WR, QB, and probably LG, just from this draft. Not saying 6 starters this year, but 6 starters by next year. We picked up some good pieces in FA, a few 3-year pieces, some 1-year upgrades leaders/prove it pieces. Now we pick up UDFAs to fill out roster for camp, and I'm sure AP is taking players with promise. Overall fantastic improvement from last year. This isn't a 1-year turnaround, other teams got better too. But hopefully we are compettive in every game and the other teams feels the pain of playing us. When you played the Hoggs, it hurt. They wore teams down.

He damn sure ain’t no CB1 when I watched his tape the best thing he can do is tackle😂!! Every receiver he checked either couldn’t catch, or the picks he got were from terrible passes by the qb ( I’m talking Under thrown or ducks) yea glad we passed on the big name cuz his play wasn’t it !!

As a Wazzu alum, Huck the Fuskies for life but seeing Dom Hampton play, you wouldn’t want to get manhandled by that dude and if you do, you better hope you have a solid ass grip. We drafted a project qb at 2 and did very little to actually improve our historically bad oline. We still dont have a real #1 wr. We took a DT and literally thats the only position of strength on this entire roster. We drafted a TE in the 2nd that would have been there late 3rd or 4th rd. We still dont have a #1 or #2 cb. I like the Michigan kid but there were better corners to be had. We draft a tweener LB and WR because he cone from good family stock? You guys are on high this was a Daniel Snyder special draft. Unless they make some big trades we wont win more than 4 or 5 games next year.

I'm not even a Washington fan (though I'm considering becoming one) - this is one of the best drafts I've seen by any team in years. PFF rated this their top all-around draft, as did NextGen - what do you know that they don't?

@Ellis_Hugh Actually every single point is a fact. 4 or 5 of the 6 gbs taken in the top 10 will be a bust those are the odds. DT is or strongest position nobody would debate that. This TE 100 would have been around later in the draft nobody was reaching for a baking TE. McCaffrey is a project player there was 100000% better wr on the board at that time.
