Gotta love Jay as an evaluator. He is brutally honest when it comes to young QBs. If he saw the same issues or red flags that he had with RGIII, he wouldn't hold back.

I liked all of those things about him. I didn't like his soft practices (which led to an insane number of injuries year in and year out), his failure to discipline the team (they were frequently one of the most penalized teams in the league), and his inability to make adjustments. Besides, why does a coach who was fired 5 years ago get a say in who we draft now?

He didn’t have to , in college most QBs don’t do it much, we had these questions about Joe as well because most the time he just threw it up to his WR. I honestly don’t think Justin had to time for development in one system to get comfortable and grow. His had 2-3 different OC. You can’t expect much progress in that environment.

The only thing Maye has over Jayden is arm strength and size. I will also give he runs to pass more. That’s it he not as accurate, doesn’t have great touch consistently. He’s good for a few WTF throws every game. Has a slow release. I don’t see the hype at all. I do see potential in a few years you might have something ,but he not ready out the gate.
