Yeah you spray brake cleaner, blow it off with air or wipe it off with a rag, and the engine is washed, in seconds. What's your problem with that?

I used engine flush for many cars. It works and safety. Even diesel fuel is ok but don't touch pedal, 3 min engine work, change for engine oil.

​@@krzysztoflewko9048Diesel fuel is not to be used as a lubricant, not even for 3 minutes. You will destroy your engine. There should always be a film of oil between metal contact points in an engine. If you want to clean out soot, just change the oil more often.

​@@jmh4ggg Back in the day, peopol From eastern europe used this to wash engins out, like ok they didnt neues to statt them, but if u had an abandond engine which was under water, u would just fill it whit Diesel and lett it sit, than replace it whit oil and try to crank it over After u have done this process.

Calm down dude, it is the original seal. They are copper or aluminium with a Rubber inside. Credo quia absurdum est.

My Mom once went 50,000+ miles before changing her car's oil. Hadn't added any either. The little bit that was left was so thick. Ford 302 motor

My boss brought his daughters car in for service, a subaru. I pulled the plug, and nothing came out. I was told to add a quart of diesel and take it around the block. Then oil wouldn't flow but glooped out in slow motion. After an hour, the boss said to fill the crankcase with diesel. After this, it flowed like heavy oil. Then he had me put ATF and oil in it, and then the final change. It had been over 2 years since she bought the car and never serviced it til then.

Our moms might be related. My mom asked me to check her big 455cid V8's oil "Bcuz the li'l red engine light's been ON several days now." I put 3 full quarts that I had + ~1\2 qut. from spare bottle in trunk of my car. All that & dipstick never registered on the LOW mark. I change oil now as YT Scotty Kilmer advizes.

Just one question, the OEM seal is a compression type seal ( similar to spark plug seal ), however, the new seal in a video is a dowry bonded seal. Dowty’s are not used normally in oil pan applications

Seen this from O.E. manufacturers. Certainly a few 90s ford's and French engines used dowtys instead of copper washers... we just put an appropriately sized copper washer on them. The dowtys were expensive and definitely a one use only item.

If the oil was that thick, I would make the customer sign a disclaimer, because that engine is likely to throw a rod in a week

Yeah, you're supposed to replace that copper washer on the plug during an oil change, but I'm willing to bet that 95% of people don't. I never have and I've never had a problem. I wonder if those quick oil change places do.

16 thousand mile oil change people. Saves you $79 per year. Then after warranty expires in 7 years, buy a new $69k car because your old one needs a new engine.

Someone doesn’t know the difference between a crash washer and a ally rubber washer, there is a reason they have certain washers on them

It's a diesel. What would you expect? You change the oil and within an hour of driving the oil is black. Thats just a fact of life.

Can't even tell what is more weird here, the oil that looks more like crude oil with half a block dissolved in it, or the rubber gasket, - or reusing the old plug...
