@travisdoesfirewood all I usually use is compressed air. Occasionally I'll put degreaser on the chain cover if there is alot of buildup.

I'm new to channel and enjoy watching your videos. Back in the day here in Upstate New York I use to drive the skidder and ran the chainsaw! Getter done Travis! 👍

I thought it would be very expensive to ship a saw. I guess it’s not to bad. Nice clean up. I would press the primer bulb a number of times, if it has one, and I would take the spark plug out and pull it over a number of times too. Just some thoughts. Have a great day 👍🏻👍🏻👋👋

Great Video Travis!Shipped and received lots of saws.. easy to do. Drain the fluids, bag the power head and use lots of packing material. I always used FedEx Ground. They were cheap and I never had any issues. Stay Safe, Continue Stacking, Keep Cuttin!🪵🪵🪵🪵

Shipping saws is no fun, I port saws and it seems I’m always shipping across the country or to different countries. Best advice specifically for the larger pro saws is take the dogs off and pack them in foam in the box and in general clean the saw spotless, drain gas and oil, then flush the oil tank with some gas, fun the fuel out of the carb, then fill the tanks with paper towels, then wrap the whole thing in a heavy duty trash bag and put that in the box. Then I fill the box with packing materials. Overall you did well especially since those small saws are easier to ship

When shipping expensive stuff, go UPS or FedEx. The cost is more, but insurance and tracking is better than Post Office.
