I’m so comfortable with flat ironing my hair that a wash and go worries me - I end up worrying my hair will puff out too much! But watching this gives me the inspiration to try it on mine and my daughter’s hair. Love the look of the braid out on the second day! Thanks for the video

Thank you soo much. I tooo love the flat iron so trying new styles is a bit stressful and I end up craving the straight hair again. But I know my hair needs a break from the heat once in a while to fully thrive . Braidouts are soo much fun and soo beautiful on children's hair. Thank you for watching. 😊

Next time you try a wash & go could you try/do a review on either Camille rose curl maker, uncle funkys daughter gel, or kinky curly curling custard

I shall try. The place where I get those brands is always out of stick when I go. I have been trying to get my hands on them for a while now. I'm always out of luck.

I've heard folks say it works better to apply gel first and then mousse. It looked good regardless!

The second day, after re wetting and braiding your hair looks better than the first day. Nice out come for the 2nd day

I agree. It was a good save. When in doubt now I'll just re wet and do a braidout . 😊

Your hair turned out great considering product problems. Glad you were able to save your wash n go with a braid out! I've NEVER been able to succesfully do a wash n go. ☹ And for some reason I can't seem to get a good braid out to stay defined and not end up frizzy with mad tangles and surprisingly single strand knots forming right before my eyes! But when I used to use Pantene Smooth and Sleek conditioner and would not wash it out it worked better as a leave in defining conditioner than anything else I've used.. Since it was not made to be a leave in I stopped doing this ( cause I thought it wasn't good for my hair) and have yet to fine something to hold my curls without tangling an hour or two later.🙄 Hope you find the holy grail of stylers, Im pretty tough on products that aren't good ingredients for natural hair. 😏 I appreciate your experimentation with different products and sharing your succes and failures! Hopefully you'll find that product out there that have good ingredients and that really does what it claims on the bottle. 😁

Thank you soo much. It is definitely a lot of trial and error. And these companies are getting sneakier with the wording they use. The pursuit of a holy grail is a long one. The knots are wildly insane. Back in the old days I used to try herbal essence hello hydration conditioner as a leave in. It was nice. But I stopped cause I thought it was bad as well. I recently tried the loreal dream lengths conditioner as a leave in and it was nice. Kept my hair soft while in braids. I need something affordable as well since I have soo much hair to cover. Lol. The struggles. 😊
