Abbey, your videos and your insights make me so happy. I always look forward to your videos. I’m now going through a devastating break-up and your videos are even more comforting to me. I have naturally curly hair and followed the curly girl method for 3 years with frustratingly inconsistent results. Since discovering your channel this year I started ignoring all the curly girl rules and ingredient prohibitions, and instead experimented with your hair advice and tried a number of products. Now thanks to you, I have a simple, consistent routine and my curls are more beautiful and healthy than ever! Thank you so much Abbey ❤

I have watched a ton of KZreadrs talk about hair over the last 10 years and spent an insane amount of money buying products with little results. After finding you not too long ago and binging your videos I have had the best hair week ever! I’ve definitely got a few more products I want to purchase. I have 2 daughters and one has hair like mine and the other has completely opposite hair. It’s curly and dry with damage from swimming and it gets frizzy. I can’t wait to test products on her.

I absolutely love her videos too. I have wavy to curly hair and used to do content on instagram before I’ve fallen sick and in a coma this year. My page is still up and has a bunch of tips and curly hair products recommendations for frizz etc. it’s all about wavy and curly hair. It’s “waveegirl” but I am no longer posting new content, I just have it up in case someone like me who was lost needed it. I was like you I hear if so many people about hair none work. Abbey way of hair understanding and all is the right way in my opinion. I only watch abbey. Many CGM communities share wrong information

I've been loving the Color Wow for curly styles which doesn't necessitate you blow dry it. I love having texture in my hair and while a good blow out is really nice, I know it's better for my hair to leave heat styling far away from my hair. You should try that when you're doing your heatless curls - I love using their conditioner, too, after I color my hair. The conditioner included in my box of hair color is really freaking good but the Color Wow conditioner really helps to lock in that color. I know that today's video said it's the water that causes hair color to leach out but this stuff works so well. Another great video!!

Great video Abbey, came here specifically to see what towels you recommended as I have follow you for last year and have used several things you have recommended. K18, living proof, color wow, pureology, and OGX miracle oil. I really have liked the improvements to my hair. While I don’t bleach my hair I have a condition that affects the hair follicle, which leads to damage to the hair. These treatments help me improve the damaged hair and blend it more into the healthy hair. Great recommendations

You are amazing! Thank you so much for sharing. I do the exact same wash routine as you but with the fable and mane oil as a pre wash oil! I am wondering, is it okay to incorporate the Redken ABC bond repair (before shampoo) every time I wash, including on the days that I apply a hydrating mask? Is that too much? I am wondering if it would even penetrate as well if I have the oil in my hair.

Def loving the blush look today! If you haven’t tried it yet, you should def check out the Dior backstage rosy glow blush. I have yet to find a blush that’s a cool pale pink like it. I’m an artist, so I’m really attuned to color in general. You definitely have a more cool complexion. Self tanners usually will skew your complexion warmer, but using makeup that suits your natural undertone despite self tanner is always going to be the most flattering. A cool pink with more blue undertones (like Dior’s) is so hard to find bc almost all blushes have either an orange/coral undertone (like Nars orgasm) or a brown/earthy undertone (like the tarte blush you’ve mentioned as a fave before). I would love to see how you like the Dior color! FWIW, I have chronic medical problems that make me appear pretty sickly, but every time I wear this specific blush literally everyone I see says I look so good and healthy😂 It really is the most natural looking pretty flush.

Hii! I have a question :) if I’m using the ‘Living Proof Triple Bond Complex Leave-In Hair Treatment’ you recommended - once i get out of the shower - do I apply it before or after the leave in conditioner treatments? Or does the Living Proof count as a leave in conditioner? And I can just blow dry after applying it without adding any other products? Sorry if that was confusing but hopefully you understand 😅 Thank you! ❤

For awhile I was pretty confused about if I could use oil on my hair as a prewash before hand etc after doing research I found you shouldn’t be doing any type of anything when planning to use k18 but not sure people really know that. Also if you could include how often someone should be using k18 for maintenance.

Would love to see your review the bioprogramminf heat tools, it's new tech and the tools heal the hair so the more you use it the better the hair gets, I found it on tiktok but it just launched in the hair stylist world in America a few weeks ago I'm guessing we will hear more about it soon 🥰. I know Madison beers hair stylist use it, as well as their lighting product which bleaches hair without any damage at all.

Do you have any suggestions or recommendations for thinning fine hair? My hair has thinned and gotten so fine since I had my daughter 6 years ago. I am trying to thicken it up and grow more hairs. Please help if you can. Thank you so much!!!

if you use the dream coat, that coats your hair for three to four washes, doesn’t it block hair masks (like olaplex) or leave in conditioners to work?

The ColorWow Dreamcoat says results last 3-4 shampoos... is there anyway the product is actually still there? I've been using mine every blow dry.

So its ok to use a leave in conditioner after the dreamcoat? 😮

  • @cheriebrown5017

My hair air drys within 30 minutes without a towel over it, so leaving it up in one from 1 to 3 hours has me confused. I'd still want to apply leave-in conditioner while its damp, correct? I typically do it once its dried from the shower. Should I re-wet my hair slightly after 1-3 hours for the leave in?

Just one question: if dream coat does coat your hair, wouldn’t it make sense to use leave in conditioner first and the seal with the wonder coat?

  • @ThriftingSquirrel
    @ThriftingSquirrelАй бұрын

Definitely apply some tension when blow drying! That’ll help remove frizz and make the style last longer - it’s a hairdressing technique not just a Color Wow recommendation. I’ve found that Dream Coat only really works well when lots of it has been applied, so it’s a waste of money, really, especially if you’re finding you need to apply additional products.

Loreal has a dupe for the Purology. I use them interchangeably. Don't notice any difference in style and wear from wearing either
