Was Tyrannosaurus Rex Really The King?

Ойын-сауық

In this video I show you an animal physics simulator called Animal Revolt to see what would happen if a T-Rex and Spinosaurus had a fight. Who would win?

dumbuser Actually, the Yutyrannus, which is a Tyrannosaur, has direct evidence of feathers. So, the lineage was capable of it, despite being far removed from other feathered known lineages. Which points to theropods in general having some level of basal gene that may have a feather component.

This game also doesn’t take into account what non-lethal injuries would do to effect the outcome. It seemed to be based on something like a point system. Bites in certain areas raise the points more than other areas. Mixed with duration of holding the bite. “First one to 100 points wins”. Another thing was that it seems like T Rex had a signature move of spinning around. I don’t know what that is based off of.

some people already mentioned the accuracy, so i just want to add that Tyrannosaurus might have been a scavenger, not a predator. Chances are, he wouldn't engage in a fight at all. Whats clear to say is, that smaller animals typically flee. A velociraptor would never try to take on a Rex, that was an absurdity of the movie - besides being out of scale. Its even debatable if he would hunt something that close to his size like humans if he was tall as deinonchyos. We know mammals that do hunt larger prey in packs, but no birds or reptiles - so its really just imagination.
