@@lindak8015 hi Linda! Born and raised in Los Angeles, have adored Shatner in every role. I hear that he laughs at himself, which is always charming. I only met him once and it was very quiet. A small group of us attended the Jewish funeral ceremony for Leonard Nimoy at an LA Temple. Shatner was in tears so I stayed away. 🌹

@@lindak8015 with you Linda, all the way 🤗......Shatner has for some kooky things! He formed a band and was singing quite awful 😂.....he HAD to know but he was serious about his music career. Then, most recently, paid $$$$$$$$$ to fly to space for 45 minutes. ! Speaking about him laughing at himself, I am SURE that Peter Falk fell into the same category. That crappy raincoat, crappy car --- arresting his real life wife (on a Columbo episode).....what FUN they all must have had 🌹
William Shatner was so handsome back in the day 😍

Ah, I saw this episode, not one of my favorites. Julia was a groupie that followed a poet from town to town. He turned out to be a dwarf, that dropped his glass eye when she saw what he really looked like. In his anger, he drops his eye, she grabs it and runs...kinda creepy! Good thing I've seen most of Hitchcock's films, as this channel doesn't show the entire story, but I still appreciate it.

Stretching the aspect ratio to fit wide screen does not make it wide screen, it just makes it annoying to watch. And why did you cut the video off short? BS channel.

Audrey Hepburn and William Shatner? Jessica Tandy played Julia, the "star-crossed" dreamer...the lonely woman, once referred to as a spinster- a detestable word! I wish this episode the entire story deemed too upsetting for the average audience- duh, just turn off the set- the entire story is on KZread though- Max was a nasty fraud- what Julia regards as a noble, poetic name is in my mind, a phoney sounding, mundane moniker- but to each his or her own- it's a very creepy, thought provoking story- I suggest those intrigued listen to it- with sound effects added it's terrific for the insomniac!
@dantheman4838
10 ай бұрын
Firstly, Audrey Hepburn is not in this episode. Secondly, Max was not a fraud, he was an artist performing an act. He was just as lonely as Julia was, if not more. It wasn't his fault that Julia became infatuated with the act and not the man behind it. It's fable about the dangers of celebrity worship. Like Julia, most people would be horrified if they knew the real truth about their favourite celebrity idols and crushes.
