    Drake did it to himself. He let his success, at creating ghost written, popular songs, and bop records, convince him that he has real lyrical skill. It caused him to foolishly go after one of the most skilled in the industry, and now, he's paying the price. A cost those too arrogant, often pay.

    The issue is Drake grew up in Canada and a middle-class family. Through his music lately ,He is acting like he is a hood gangster that is not who he is.he is not American and doesn’t understand American black culture. he has a beef with Pharrell and many other rapper and producers. that’s why I Kendrick said, and one of his songs that he would inherit the beef. because Pharrell is a nice guy, and he doesn’t try and claim to Be from any Hood or gangs he is allegedly, not nice behind the scenes and acts like he has stolen other rappers chains but instead, he has bought them. Such as tupacs ring that he bought not stole.

  • @igweugo

    @igweugo

    There's nothing wrong with Drake growing up in Canada, with a middle class family. The problem is that he doesn't belong anywhere, or at least hasn't tied himself to anywhere publicly and stood on that. And the further issue is that he only tries to tie himself to certain places when there's a chance to exploit people (usually Black folks) for his own personal gain. New York, The Bay, Texas, Atlanta, East London, the Afrobeats scene in the Diaspora, et al. Even Toronto; before there was a chance to make money off of it, Drake wasn't immersed or interested in the culture built in Toronto (where freed Black folks, but also folks from the British West Indies, built an identity in the place where they settled). And that's why Drake will lose this battle every time
