The bank and John Deere is getting rich hope you have a few pennys left in your pocket. Most of the big equipment is selling dirt cheap down south with farmers quitting due to low prices and bad weather.

I'm a farmer who spent a career in manufacturing and it's somewhat dangerous to rely on a single monumental machine because when it goes down all your production stops. Having multiple smaller machines can keep the grain flowing when the weather is good. Labor can be a penalty but you're paying labor when the machine is down too, and the repairs are more costly. Going big is fun but but the edge of the knife gets sharper for any hiccup in the weather during the season or at harvest because financing is so challenging. Analyze not only your time in the field but getting two/from the many tiny fields, maneuvering around in tiny fields, and setup time involved (folding out the wider head/head carts/etc). Setup time is often the profit killer in big manufacturing environments that have thin margins and will apply to large acre farming too.

I've spent alot of hours in s680 with a 12 row folding Gerringhoff head, they are an animal. This must put an S series to shame. Really great review. Thanks.

Thank you for your honest assessment of the X9! We purchased a X9 and C12F for next season. Yields in our area usually run 200 or below. Would you mind sharing C12F shaft speeds for 5.5-6 mph? Also, is there a such thing of running to fast GS with C12F Head? Thank you and best wishes with the remainder of your harvest!

I hear ya when you were talking about losing your rythm at some point during the day. It can take as long as an hour for everyone to get back on the same page . Stay safe boys and keep up the good work.

Have you watched Ivers farms videos and his solution on his international combines throat build up fix if you have an air compressor on combine you could easily fix throat cleaner with an extra air tank electric dump selinoid and manifold even rig up an air cylinder and selinoid on that ladder hooked into your door switch on relay lol

Not anymore the new ones are super high, one of the reasons we did one x9 and not multiple 670 or 680s
