Depending on state rules. In wi, you can provide daycare services for up to 4 children before the state gets involved. Taxes though, might get you there.

Wear and tear from a small child sitting on the couch? My infant nephew fires out both ends pretty well every time we see him, and changes of clothes are always necessary. NORMAL people would just be friendly and alternate which house hosts the playdates, thus evening out any "expenses".
