The napkins are definitely from M&S from the late 1970s. I worked there on Saturdays and in the school holidays at that time and they came out when The Country Diary of an Edwardian Lady stuff was really popular so they were based on those designs I think.

I'm sure you know, but for anybody who doesn't, don't ever put the Johnson Bros gravy jug in the microwave. The silvering on it is real metal and sparks will fly!!

Andrea, your metal artefacts are not corbels; the fleur de lis would be upside down - that's not a design convention. They're actually decorative side bars from a grate. They go the other way up, flat base down, either side of the fire grate. Possibly Edwardian but could be quite modern. I know because we had them on our old fire grate. Hope that helps👍

Dorma did duvet covers and bedding in the Country Diary pattern back in the seventies. There was also china to match . I love the book too. It was licensed very widely .

Lovely video, but regard to coffee pots they are not popular in Canada most people here use French press or some gigantic expensive machine on their counter to make single serving coffees. But I’ve been sell teapots steadily so I’m always looking for unique pretty ones for my booth
