Both Ali and Bruce had respect for each other. Bruce even said he was amazed and fearful of Ali's speed and footwork and vice versa. EDIT: I originally thought Ali was referring to Bruce based on an article that gave loose info on the two, but it was actually referring to Ali using a punching method in a fight that he learned from a man who received that same punching method training from Bruce himself. So far, I only know of Bruce to be the one speaking on Ali directly.

Bruce Lee loved Muhammad Ali, he spoke very highly of him. He would watch reels of his fights at home for hours on end studying his foot work and boxing techniques. Bruce thought Ali was an amazing person and boxer.

Bruce Lee never once claimed he could beat Muhammad Ali, I actually recall an interview he did where he said Muhammad Ali is an incredible fighter and he would not be able to beat him in a boxing match. Bruce Lee never spoke a negative word about Ali l, in fact he idolized the man and absolutely thought he was incredible. Now if they fought and anything goes not just solely boxing alone, Bruce might have a shot, if we are taking boxing vs boxing solely then Ali absolutely would defeat Bruce Lee and even Bruce Lee said so. Bruce Lee is and was a real martial artist, he lived for it and it's all hr dis in his spare time, train, fight, workout and study constantly , he never was not training, Evey spare moment he had involved training and learning new fighting skills, getting into better shape, expanding him mind etc ect.

Bruce Lee was quick and he had control of every single muscle fiber in his body. And Bruce Lee has ultra instinct. Remember what he said, his fist hits all by itself. Ali is untouchable with his reflexes. So this would be a fight worth seeing.

In a boxing ring, Muhammad Ali would have easily won. Two reasons: Ali was a monstrous 220 pounder. Ali was quick on his feet too. However if leg kicks were allowed, things would have been a little different. Not much, but a little. Respect to both my heroes. 🙏🏽

Not really. I've done boxing and muay thai . My first time in muay thai I literally stood completely in a side on boxing stance and the leg kicks hurt but not enough to really stop me from stepping in. Once inside a boxers hands will dominate. After a few training sessions I adopted a .one front on stance and this led to alot of success as now I had the best of both worlds.

Both Ali and Bruce had respect for each other. Bruce even said he was amazed and fearful of Ali's speed and footwork and vice versa. EDIT: I originally thought Ali was referring to Bruce based on an article that gave loose info on the two, but it was actually referring to Ali using a punching method in a fight that he learned from a man who received that same punching method training from Bruce himself. So far, I only know of Bruce to be the one speaking on Ali directly.

Bruce Lee never once claimed he could beat Muhammad Ali, I actually recall an interview he did where he said Muhammad Ali is an incredible fighter and he would not be able to beat him in a boxing match. Bruce Lee never spoke a negative word about Ali l, in fact he idolized the man and absolutely thought he was incredible. Now if they fought and anything goes not just solely boxing alone, Bruce might have a shot, if we are taking boxing vs boxing solely then Ali absolutely would defeat Bruce Lee and even Bruce Lee said so. Bruce Lee is and was a real martial artist, he lived for it and it's all hr dis in his spare time, train, fight, workout and study constantly , he never was not training, Evey spare moment he had involved training and learning new fighting skills, getting into better shape, expanding him mind etc ect.

Because Ali isn’t trained to fight that way. Boxers have those rules. If they made that exception for Bruce, then of course he would win.

So Ali Already lose By putting the condition on an opponent who never Fought with a boxing gloves and boxing Rules ....

Not really. I've done boxing and muay thai . My first time in muay thai I literally stood completely in a side on boxing stance and the leg kicks hurt but not enough to really stop me from stepping in. Once inside a boxers hands will dominate. After a few training sessions I adopted a .one front on stance and this led to alot of success as now I had the best of both worlds.

Ali knew how nasty bruce lee was. Ali knew martial artists who trained with bruce, and they informed Ali. So, secretly Ali had a huge admiration for bruce.

Well Tyson also fought 'Peak a boo' style but with more mastery and verocity than Joe Frazier. Prime Ali vs Prime Tyson is an easy eyeball test. Like I said and most people will concur nobody in the history of boxing is beating Prime Tyson. Tyson dropped Lennox Lewis in sparring in the 80's. Heck I think David Tua would drop Ali.
Bruce got really fast reaction time but ali definitely gonna take this one and people calling him "just a movie star" need to stop it he was a real martial artist and he was really good at keeping his body in shap
