I just wished it was an anthology, I’m glad this one did something different, but I think they should just do individual stories

@@WalterCulture hmmm that would be interesting. Like I said l, I’m still looking forward to what stories they adapt next, but a less continuity heavy approach I think would work best

Season 2's casting and plot details revealed the show will be an anthology, just season by Season rather than episodic, which I think is a happy medium I like the idea of a fair bit

I enjoyed it for what it was. The last few were not great. However, it's better than a lot of nostalgic shows.

I agree.

I liked it overall but I agree with that answering who Slappy was talking too should of been answered in season two. I would watch a season two to see where they would take the story. Plus I agree that turn of Nathan was odd maybe it will get explained if their season 2.

I felt the same way, Walter. After watching the first half of the series, I liked it. However, the last five episodes made me like it a little less. I felt exactly the same way you did with Nathan Bratt deciding to bring back Slappy. I just thought it was a dumb move and didn't make sense. However, I do hope it gets a second season and can improve.

Im a lifelong fan of the series and really enjoyed the show more than most However I am overjoyed its becoming an anthology with Season 2 and season 1 having its loose threads wrapped up in a book

Got a lot to say about the series ill be real, good and bad. However. My final verdict is that it should have ended with Biddle's passing on. it was a wonderful end.

I actually have a theory.. Maybe something is causing Nathan Bratt to have visions of Kanduu that aren’t actually there..

I loved it and the retellings of some of R. L. Stines most popular works really was refreshing I hope at least one more season is green lit

I am on episode 4 and so far I liked it. It's using classic stories but doing cool things with it.

Well I did enjoy it I thought it was good and I do agree they should’ve left the ending for season two and i was also confused about Nathan being related to Harold and I also felt the nostalgia for it and hope it gets a season two

More CW Riverdale than Goosebumps. Overall very dissapointing

I did not like the other horror theme like the mask and clock feels very underdone and disappointing when the originally gave me a much more dept to its curse item. I dislike Slappy that always get the attentions as the only horror item in goosebumps and I agree with the last 2 episode been just bad way of twist >_ I like most about this series is that they have no jump scare that I find most horror this day only know how to use lame cheap things to call horror, when I find telling a great story with dept like evil is what make it great Great review

I also found the lineage confusing as to where he fit into the family. Also, odd how he was back to being a loner after this huge thing he was involved in. For sure someone else should have been the one to get Slappy back, after everything he went through no way he would have done that. I wish they spent a few episodes on the backstory of Slappy and Kanadu. I will say though I love how the show was sprinkled with references to the old Goosebump books.

Idc I loved it all. Justin Long is perfect

This whole series was definitely worth it. 💯

Well, everybody has right to talk about it if they don’t like it or not I’m just saying everybody has own opinions I mean I don’t have a problem with it but I will say it again I like the old one better but I don’t think this was terrible, but again, let everybody have their own opinions with you or not

wait they remade goosebumps again? Thought they would’ve stopped after the Jack Black reboot. But I’ll give it a watch if Justin Long is in it.

The only reason I didn’t really like this season they did a good job. I’ll give them that it’s just the fact that I like old school. The old school was scary. It terrified me. It gave me nightmares. I just feel like this new goosebumps is kind of a joke.

I was very surprised that I liked the series so much at first, but when I saw the last episode just now, I was really disappointed. I was still open when sappy was brought back, but everything that happened in the last episode was kind of boring. I was missing a proper ending and I think that if I had got a proper ending and not a cliffhanger, I would be happy now. Do I want a new season? Somehow not, because I have the feeling that it will always go on like this, one cliffhanger after another, and I think that's just silly. I don't really mind cliffhangers, I liked that slappy's eyes opened in the snow again, but the way it is now, I'm not interested in anything anymore.

Okay let me first say this seems like a much better story than the are you afraid of the dark stuff that they gave us when they rebooted that also I do got to wonder why they do the same thing with this show as they did with all your friend of the dark why is it just one long episode know he said as much as many episodes like it used to be it was good like that we liked it like that for a reason these long episodes can be good for a part or two but not the entire season. I think they need to go back to their roots with this and are you afraid of the dark and they can both be good again so just being okay at most

Well I’ll say it again it depends on your opinion everybody has different opinions like you’re saying it was goosebumps 2023 worth it I like the original Goosebumps better yes but I think these reboot like this one is trying to target new audiences, not necessary the old audiences that grew up watching it But sometimes I get things a chance and like I said, it depends on your opinion so it’s really hard to say what is bad or good because the other day comes off as your opinion and you really can’t tell people owe they shouldn’t watch itself because they have different opinions than you, so I hope everybody decides for themselves and not let males side for you just because they don’t like it don’t mean you won’tif you think it looks good check it out if you don’t think it looks good don’t check it out

Yeah this show was overall a huge disappointment. It barely feels like goosebumps, and even when those elements are used, they’re either done minimally, like the camera, or completely butchered, like the cuckoo clock. Not to mention that the final half of the show is filled with clickbait titles that have no relation to the episode story.

This series is dumb af, bad acting and I strongly wanted to support Justin long but not even 5 min into the u, the first episode is an immediate gay scene😂 " James why haven't you asked Tom out?" Wtf I swear why you gotta put gay scenes in every movie/tv series , Immediate thumbs down on Hulu and hidden from my watchlist
