I have that Magic Johnson vs. Kevin Garnett game on VHS 📼. Magic made his HIV retirement comeback after 5 years off. He was heavy and slow, but he carved Minnesota up with his passing, and looked like Tim Duncan down low. Magic was the GOAT 🐐 player on offense to me. Still to this day. Everything was easy for him. He was deferring to the young guys and allowing Nick Van Exel to run the offense. But even still Magic kept seeing plays developing and he couldn’t help himself but to throw lobs to Eddie Jones, backdoor no look bounce passes, stuff he kept seeing that nobody else on the court could see

Best 3 players of 90s
I miss those day college basketball was great late 80’s all the way through the early 2000’s

Troy Bell was my favorite early 2000s player. As a kid I loved sheed, Montross, and stack in Carolina and bibby and miles Simon in Arizona. After the final four I remember pretending to be Miles Simon out on the playground during recess.
I was at the preseason game against the Sonics, even though it was wasn't a real game and Mike wasn't young anymore he was still on another level compared to everyone else on the court. A master in his element.
"I swear to god he had the orange joint 😂😂😂😂
Chuck wasn't better than Jordan but he was unreal.... like on a level most don't understand unless they actually watched him play. 86-96 were amazing years for Barkley. He averaged 25 and 12 for over a decade... Absolute monster

Yeah, but that's honestly common among pro athletes. The mindset that they're the best is what drives them. Pierce is just a lot more outspoken about it, whereas most other guys want to come off as more modest to protect their image.
Jordan was like sonic the hedgehog and barkley was like knuckles the echinda...if you think about them being rivalry.

Not ever. Not at any point. However, Charles is the man. And credit to him bc he always acknowledged MJ was the man. One of my favorite clips of Barkley and Jordan is when Charles was singing the Gatorade song - “If I could be like Mike.” So. Damn. Cool.
My in house league when I was 11 they use to call me Charles Barkley.. this was back in 99, 2000 next year they paid for me to play on travel team. I was a under size big man with guard skills. Salute to charles

Man as a teen I visited my uncles every year at Christmas for 2 weeks from Ireland , Charlestown , walked over the bridge to watch The Cs , went to all home games , we used to get free tickets of my Cousins Parish Preist in Charlestown and my guy The Truth , I saw Larry last year with a broken back , and saw greatest but I saw Paul Pierce in his prime, never forget The Garden light up with Him and Antoine Walker Cs Shake and start the next great Celtics , what a player Paul Pierce was , he wasn’t afraid of anything, unbelievable Mentality!!
Jamal Mashburn was unstoppable!!
I love hearing them talk..it's like we're listening in...great, thx !!
I’ve heard ppl say that MJ has an aura but I’ve never heard anyone specify an actual color to his glow before lol Mike is the GOAT of all GOATS

Barkley best pf to me
Only a handful of players can say they were the second best player in the league behind MJ - the great Charles Barkley is one of them. We might be laughing with/at him on Inside the NBA now, but damn, that dude took MJ to 6 games in the Finals. Chuck will always be on my 🐐 list, I don't care bout the rings and those crap you need massive luck and just about everything to go your way to win a title.

@@theetruth8626 I never saw him play so it's not right for me to comment otherwise. I've been watching basketball since 86ish and since then MJ was the goat. Jordan is the greatest player of the modern era and maybe the greatest of all time BUT I can't say All time because I'm not old enough to have watched some other NBA greats play. My opinion says Michael Jordan is the goat because from 85 until today I haven't seen anyone better and it's not even close. The two other names that might be mentioned during THAT ERA is Bird and Magic and they both will tell you that MJ is the goat. Larry Bird said Jordan was GOD in sneakers
Pierce with that Ronnie fields hoodie nasty
Mash was the truth just like the truth he went to cardinal Hayes high school in the Bronx with my childhood friends and his crossover was cold in ny handle was a must I use to practice a crossover and it had a snap like mash he deserves his flowers
Funny they end up talking about Mashburn after Ali ….. Jamal’s dad was a heavyweight boxer named Bob Mashburn and he was a sparring partner for Muhammad Ali
Interestingly enough, Mashburn learned most of his deep stuff from MJ
I have that Magic Johnson vs. Kevin Garnett game on VHS 📼. Magic made his HIV retirement comeback after 5 years off. He was heavy and slow, but he carved Minnesota up with his passing, and looked like Tim Duncan down low. Magic was the GOAT 🐐 player on offense to me. Still to this day. Everything was easy for him. He was deferring to the young guys and allowing Nick Van Exel to run the offense. But even still Magic kept seeing plays developing and he couldn’t help himself but to throw lobs to Eddie Jones, backdoor no look bounce passes, stuff he kept seeing that nobody else on the court could see
Nobody was better than Jordan .. period
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 the headline is funny asf
Barkley was also AWESOME in Philly , to bad he didn't get there like a yr or two earlier B4 Doc and Moses slid a little , history would've been rewritten and those Doc , Moses , Barkley sixers handled young Mike and chitown on a regular basis
Jamal Mashburn was sooo cold maybe cause I’m near Charlotte so I’m in tune
Paul was right about Stevie Wonder dude tall too and very humble! Jordan Has a presence about him too never met him but close enough to shake his hand!
