I created this video to show off this beautiful 2013 Star Bass from Warwick's Rockbass series I'm about to list in my Reverb shop, Salty Guitars. Beware of G.A.S. (Gear Acquisition Syndrome) It's a damn sweet instrument especially considering it's a Chinese-built version! If you happen to miss out on this particular one hopefully this video can help you decide if a Star Bass or other Warwick might be for you. I'm a huge Warwick fan!

Good ear! Because of what I fear is arthritis coming on I use super light floppy strings and as low of action as I can get away with. The buzz isn't audible with direct signal only. I realized after recording I could have gated the vocal mic.
so interesting instrument! What about playing slap with this bass? Thank you for review

I wish the Star had a 34" scale, and only one pickup.

A thumbs up, nice review. The pronunciation is 'Wor Rick' . Silent 'W'. Hope that helps.

It's pronounced worrick. I bet you say piezo wrong as well.
Pretty bass but it sounds pretty awful. Would be nice to hear it sync'd and not through your speakers.
