Hey, we have "bryndza" as well in Poland but it is most popular in the southern regions (Podhale). It has also the same name in Polish ;)

Most tourist attractions and monuments are missing. Where is the Royal Castle, Łazienki Królewskie, Wilanów Palace, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Bank Square, Grand Theater...? I don't live in Warsaw and I don't know all the places, but your film is very poor. You showed almost nothing...

and it's cheap in Poland because the average Polish salary is 3k per hand. and it is 670 euros. so it's easy to calculate that when converted to euro, our prices are low, but not for Poles :P ps. and "zapiecek" is more of a franchise. it's not bad but it's not great either

That is the minimum salary you wrote, the average salary is 7 560.00 zł brutto what makes it around 5.5k net. which makes it around 1230euro. Please don't spread fake data.

@@orestis4341 Oh no. The average salary is a salary that most Poles cannot afford, so it is not a lie. Unfortunately, the minimum wage and the most common wage are similar. so, no, I'm not lying, you're doing it. you do it by using Google instead of the Central Statistical Office, the Central Statistical Office gives the average of PLN 6,883.96 gross, i.e. PLN 5,021 (E 1,126) net. now these data are more similar to the salary value in Poland - the median is PLN 3,500 (784 E), and the dominant's salary is PLN 2,100 (471 E) - as you can see, the dominant is lower than the minimum wage. data from '21.

In Poland we have the equivalent of your Slovak dumplings, they are called "pierogi russkie" and generally it is a dish found in both Russia and Ukraine. I think dumplings with cabbage and mushrooms will be typical Polish. in the "zapieck" the sausage is served with fried sauerkraut, but traditionally it is fried with onion, so actually this sauerkraut should be included in the set. A typical Polish dish is potatoes with sour milk, but very few restaurants serve it, or "zurek", which is made with sourdough, a sour soup to which boiled eggs and sausage are added, sometimes also bacon.

"Ruskie pierogi" (the correct name in English is "Rutheranian dumplings"; not "Russian dumplings") is a dish originating from Polish and Ukrainian cuisine. Their name comes from the Red Ruthenia - a historical land in north-western Ukraine and south-eastern Poland (land in north-western Ukraine was once part of Poland).

27:20 - Zapiecek is definetely not the best option to eat really tasty polish food. To be honest, next time you should check sth different or maybe one of Bar mleczny (sth like local bistro...). I think Polish/Slovak language shouldn't be a problem there, you should understand most in menu (just as we understand mostly menu in Slovak). Prices are lower, and that's real local food :)
