I have a two Warriors, and one BassMods, and I’ve owned 5 BassMods. I echo what my ears here. the Warrior is MAGICAL in the mix with finger tone. It won’t hurt you on slap tone but doesn’t come close to that BassMods slap tone. Two different instruments and tone profiles. I love both and I keep both for various music needs.

I also have 1 warrior bass 1 Bassmods 1 Lefay Bass, For me the bassmods Slap tone is good but that Lefay Bass slap tone i gold

BARTS BARTS BARTS! That Warrior is Monstrous in the mix either finger style or slap. You're slap style is killer as well too! All your basses sound great, but that Warrior has the boutique tone that grabs you. It really sounds amazing Candra.

Wahou, very nice ! About the tone, I love go to the Jazz Bass but I seem to feel more comfortable on the Warrior. But it's same for me, I love my Jazz Bass tone but definitely feel better on my Warrior Dran Michael !

You rock. Hope to meet you someday. I’ve been wondering if the Bassmods just has its own sound. It’s a deep bass kind of unique punchy sound. Almost techie. I’ve been considering one because of this. I have a Michael Kelly Custom Element 5R - 5 string and cannot for the life of me pull this kind of a sound out of it. Markbass CMD bass amp. Both brand new.

Interesting. I've kind of wanted to try a Michael Kelly bass. I do think the BassMods has it's own sound. But our fingertips might add to that sound too. Most of my basses have different characteristics. The Bassmods is super aggressive in the Mids and Hi Mids, though. I love it!

@@CandraR it’s definitely a fingers things too. I’m new to bass I’ve been on keys over 30 years. In my sphere I’m known for my left hand because people always say it’s realistic but that’s because if o were re born I’d come back as a bassists and not keyboardist facts lol so finally did it bought the bass loving the journey. I can’t pull a slap out the shit for anything tho 😆 That being said on the sound tho it’s probably a combination of my fingers and choosing my sound.

I like the first bass you played better than any of them. Never heard of that one before but it’s nasty though! Second would be the Warrior. Unfortunately Bass Mods comes in 3rd place!

Hi! Thank you! 🙏🏾I shoot with my Canon M50, and I record audio into Logic. Syncing the files is very easy using LumaFusion on my iPad!

So, no matter what bass I’m playing, I tend to start from everything flat and roll the blend back towards the bridge pick up a little bit. And I might roll off the highs a bit too because I don’t like a bunch of clicky finger noise. The bass I might boost or cut depending on the bass itself, but it just depends on how I feel. That’s about it! Everything else stays pretty much flat!

The Neuser is the absolute lightest bass ever. I wouldn’t put it over 7.5lbs or something like that. Thanks for your input! 🙏🏾

Overall I preferred the sound of the Bass Mods. The Warrior had a mid bump that was trebly and the Neuser had a subdued sound and the B string was a little loose. Of course that's my opinion through headphones. Nice chops.

The Bassmods is full slap is great and has pretty good mid range the other bass seems to not be smooth and sustainable as the warrior the warrior is the most consistent tone to me notes seem more even
