Warren, Ohio
Warren is a city in the county seat of Trumbull County, Ohio. It is the 32nd largest city in Ohio, and the 988th largest city in the United States. Like all big cities, some area's look run down while others look beautiful. There is so much to do here and the surrounding areas. The historic Parkard Music Hall and the Warren Community Amphitheater host both National touring and local music acts. With many great Museums ,wonderful restaurants and plenty shopping Warren is a must see. Warren has so much rich history, founded in 1798, Warren was the first town in the U.S, to have an electric street illumination provided by the Packard Electric Company, founded in 1890 in Warren. The court house was designed by the architect firm La Belle and French of Marion and was built in 1897. The Perkins Mansion built in 1871 now serves as the Warren City Hall since 1934, and is a beautiful building. With so many historical buildings and homes in Warren , you can spend a afternoon just enjoying the architecture. Warren offers a self guided tour of Millionaires Row in the Historic District, the Who's Who of the stately mansions that line the street during the 1800's. The McKinley Memorial Museum in Niles , Ohio is a short drive from Warren was a must see for me, but unfortunately was closed along with his replica birthplace home when I was there.

I grew up in Warren in the 40's and 50's when manufacturing and factories were on every block. My sister and I would walk the tracks all the way downtown from our home in Westlawn. No it wasn't a cemetery, it was a project for people starting fresh back from WW2. Some of the employers were; GE (Trumbull Lamp, Ohio Lamp, Peerless Electric, Packard Electric, Wheeling and Pittsburgh Steel, Republic), and many more. There were 5 movie houses downtown, a famous Opera House And if you were in the mood for pool there was one in the dusty confines of a place called "The Hole." It was a fun time.

Amazing filmography. I never knew what half the buildings looked like even though I lived there for forty years. The area has a rich history. Thank you for capturing its beauty.

I highly recommend you get out of warren. Very bad city!
beautiful filmography but I swear this city aint sunshine and rainbows
I lived in Warren for 34 years. Sometimes I miss my hometown. Sometimes I don't and it usually happens when I come back down there to visit and realize how much has left the area.
They all kick their kick backs from the drugs and so on.
For everybody who ain't from here or moved away. they put the music on in the background to cover up the gunshots😅
My hometown. Moved away several years ago. The city is trying to recover, but it’s going to be an uphill battle. Population loss over the last 30+ years and loss of jobs is tough to overcome. I lost my job when my bank merged, which is why we left.
Things just aren't built like that anymore
