It's a common misconception that when a stock you buy skyrockets, the smart thing to do is sell it (or at least sell some of it) to lock in your profits. But the context matters. If the stock has increased sharply because the business is performing exceptionally well, it could still be a bargain. I'm still looking for companies to make additions to my $350K portfolio, to boost performance. Here for ideas

I think the next big thing will be A.I. For enduring growth akin to META, it's vital to avoid impulsive decisions driven by short-term fluctuations. Prioritize patience and a long-term perspective most importantly consider financial advisory for informed buying and selling decisions.

A lot of folks downplay the role of advlsors until being burnt by their own emotions. I remember couple summers back, after my lengthy divorce, I needed a good boost to help my business stay afloat, hence I researched for licensed advisors and came across someone of utmost qualifications. She's helped grow my reserve notwithstanding inflation, from $275k to $850k.

We Are in Unchartered Financial Waters! every day we encounter challenges that have become the new standard. Although we previously perceived it as a crisis, we now acknowledge it as the new normal and must adapt accordingly. Given the current economic difficulties that the country is experiencing in 2024, how can we enhance our earnings during this period of adjustment? I cannot let my $680,000 savings vanish after putting in so much effort to accumulate them.

Keeping some gold is usually a wise decision. You would be better off keeping away from equities for a bit or, even better, seeking advice from an expert given the current market conditions and everything that is at risk with the current economy.

You have a very valid point, I started investing on my own and for a long time, the market was really ripping me off. I decided to hire a CFA, even though I was skeptical at first, and I beat the market by more than 9%. I thought it was a fluke until it happened two years in a row, and so I’ve been sticking to investing via an analyst

I agree that many people are considering NVDA as the "Stock of the year." However, I'm curious about which stocks could potentially become the next META in terms of growth over the next decade. I've allocated $200k for investment, looking for companies to make additions to boost performance

Watching the live stream of the day, I realized how emotionally attached I am to Warren and Charlie. Many moments, and the tribute film, had me in tears. Glad to know that you were in the audience. The investing world won't see another pair like Warren and Charlie. Their life lessons are as profound as their investment advice and I'm grateful to them.
I think as AI starts to take over social media and people begin to distrust watching videos, it’ll force us to come together more in person.

Especially the part where just said Charlie ooooft, dude has had enough.

Poor Charlie. Taken from us so young! And I do mean that. He was mentally supple and pliable right to the end. He had a tough exterior and one of the greatest minds of his generation, but he remained capable of learning and changing up to the moment he left us. I really wish that he had learned where he was going to die, so he didn’t have to go there ❤.

Charlie Munger is one of my favorite people I have never met. He is missed and respected for all the wisdom and wit he left behind.
Warren’s a value investor look at his TSM position he got in and got out within few weeks and miss more or less 50% of the up ride, today we are more in a momentum type market not so much value.

How do I know this wasn’t an AI Buffet?!
Why WB is not investing some of his pile of cash in Bitcoin? If the USD is losing purchasing power with the unstoppable and endless inflation, it’s strange that he doesn’t mention a word about BTC as a vehicle to accumulate value in the long term, considering also Blackrock or Fidelity latest moves creating the BTC ETF.
I think we're so used to him calling to Charlie afterwards that it would have been ackward had he not mentioned his name by accident
From $7K to $45K that's the minimum range of profit return every week I thinks it's not a bad one for me, now I have enough to pay bills and take care of my family.

As opposed to those of you who hate China and Chinese people because of the narrative spun by the Western media and u are too lazy to do your own research so u believe everything u read. China is always framed during the days of Mao and the Cultural revolution and The Great Leap forward which major hardships for the Chinese population. However that all changed wen Deng Xiao Peng opened China to the world and pursued more economically pragmatic solutions that raised 800 million people out of poverty. By contrast the Western press never speak of the Germany and Japan and the atrocities they committed during world War 2. All of those unspeakable actions are forgiven as they are now considered beacons of Democracy. But China is still demonized as a monster despite being one of the only governments in the world ( as well as Singapore) that have done something for their general populace as opposed to Western governments who serve the interest of lobbyists and Comercial interest groups such as US

There is always a bot with better signal. ALADDIN is the real deal.
Warren should pay some of that cash out as a dividend since he admitted that they have no good ideas to deploy the cash. Holding shareholder cash isn't good long-term unless he's going to actually deploy it effectively within a reasonable timeframe.
Making $10.23 billion in interest on that cash is not a bad place to be.
