WARNING! Watch BEFORE Drifting Your Harley Dyna! Learning The Hard Way...
Harley Dyna Drifts have been high on my list of tricks to learn for a while now. I finally mustered up the courage to start messing around a bit and it has been a WILD ride thus far. Today I'm discussing some of the challenges learning to drift a Harley motorcycle from a beginner's perspective. The pros make it look easy, but trust me, this is no walk in the park! I'll also go over what I've done to make the learning experience less dangerous, including practicing in the dirt and in the rain/on wet surfaces. I highly recommend starting on a smaller/lighter bike before jumping to the monstrous dyna! For the record, I am NOT a pro, and I don't have these figured out yet. This is not a HOW-TO; rather, me learning how. Enjoy!

Johns StreetBob sale ad: The bike has never been dropped. No wheelies or hooligan stuff. Never been rode in the rain 😂
Such an underated channel!
It’s pretty cool watching you develop skills. You can wheelie anything- I’m sure it is only a matter of time before you can drift anything too! 🤘🏽
Yup... When the bike becomes perpendicular to the direction of travel... High Side. ;) Jon... Gotta add that you've got the base skills and the right attitude to learn these tricks. I'd say that if you can't ride your bike up a ramp onto your pickup then do a back flip off the bed... you probably shouldn't try this.
the sound of that first high side in the vid hurt my soul. Thank God you have the balance of a fucking ninja man
Thanks great footage, editing, and info about safety for the bike and the person. how to start out, and how to know when to stop
I’m in the process of getting these Harley stunts down and these vids are so much help
You’re rad for showing your growing process bruh. 🤙
Least you picked up the bike right before he pulled up 😂 that woulda been fun explaining
Motorcycles, Dixxon Flannels, and random backflips! Bro!!! keep it coming 🤘
I agree its so much easier in the rain...everyone should start in the rain.
Looks really cool when you pull it off! When I used to do that stuff I did it on a much smaller bike. I did wheelie my FX Super Glide and FXR, but never intentionally spun the rear tire. Now I'm just too afraid of damaging the bike and me! Did the officer tell you to leave? Did he say you were trespassing?
Very pleasant and useful video👍👍👍
Hehe nice, adding that rain drifts into the intro 😁
You're getting there brother man. I personally never got past rolling burnouts as the crew years ago stopped stunting after a couple deaths and baby's and just life but my buddies that were good at it used to constantly say "throttle out and commit", basically closing the throttle is what gets you in trouble. Anyway, they were ridiculous and just way beyond me but you're killing it dude, no BS. BTW, frame sliders and crash bars look better rashed, means you're swinging it. Stay cool breeze...
I enjoyed your videos so much that I'm buying some things from your supporters. Please keep them coming! I'm nearing 50 years old and wish I could try this but know better, I have people depending on me. I only wish I had the balls to attempt what you were doing when I was younger. Looking forward to more of your adventures!
Just wondering what you have in the front of your pickup box to keep it from getting damaged from loading/hauling bikes?
Progression!! Super rad to see!
Hey man, I’m basically a squid just learning wheelies on my sportster. But I’m also out here in the PHX area. Your videos are great and super helpful for stuff ive been thinking about learning. Also, idk if you play guitar but a capo serves as an awesome tripod for your phone Haha.
These visuals are dope bro
