Hi Kevin loved this one as an expat from Liverpool living in Canada, but with a connection to Mathew St and the Cavern, We have a brick in that wall of fame, and We appeared on the Cavern ( Jnr Session Saturdays ) 60 yrs ago this month I was 13yrs old and it was the same stage The Beatles played on, We met Astrid Kirchherr in there and Max Scheler they were on an assignment to cover Beatle mania for Stern Magazine they got us on the Cavern and included us in the the photos for Stern along with many other groups but most importantly The Beatles, later the pics were used in Astrid and Max's books Liverpool Days and Golden Dreams ( 1994 ) I did the afterword for Liverpool Days and our pics were included in the books, once again great vlog, Regards Mike Byrne.

Never been to Liverpool but it looks a great city and one place I would definitely consider visiting. Actually I’m not a great fan of the Beatles, been there done it but the other music sounded great(red hot chilli peppers). Thanks Kevin.

Great video. You also have the Irish bars the other side of town and also concert square for the younger crowd. Ps. That austere looking building your hotel room is overlooking is the Liverpool war rooms. If you like history its the WWll museum called 'western approaches'. They worked with the Bletchley Park code breakers and you can see all the original war rooms which have been preserved
