There are 5 Wetherspoons in Liverpool city centre, they have differing prices, something to do with the rent i believe. There's one by Concert Square about 400 metres from that one you showed, it's a good bit cheaper than that one. Bold Street is full of restaurants from every place and has lots of hidden bars nearby.

You actually skimmed past Probe, the very epicentre of so much of our cities music scene, throughout the period from the late 60's to at least 2000. that building is so iconic, such a shrine, yet you just walked past like it never happened, Pete Burns sold me a hand made artisanal mohair jumper, and on another occasion refused to sell me the latest #1 main stream single that i was buying for someone else, probe should be loved and remembered for being as much of a part of Liverpool's musical culture as any other entity that originated here. Eric's and The Warehouse, hosted many amazing early incarnations of some latterly loved bands.

Kevin cannot for the life of me understand why the new old owners whatever?? removed that amazing picture of the Fab four in the Grapes' pub on Mathew Street?🤔🤔 It was there for years, remember seeing it as a young Man living in Liverpool during the early 1980,s !! It had the original drummer Pete Best on it with the other 3 lads ;-) taken in the exact same spot the lads were sitting on a table in the pub in the very early 1960,s 🤫🤫🤫

Come on Kev much as i love Liverpool in the summer the Canaries or the med is the place to be if the caribbean is off the the itinery.

thanks, i think Santa cruz has a few outside city centre , Molly Malones in Puerto de la cruz might be busy at night. Plenty busy bars during day in Las Americas but thats a fair bit away if you have to be back on ship at night

White Star line was a famous Liverpool shipping line, The Titanic being one of theirs, hence the model at the pub.

Liverpool is a quality night out, concert square is also good such a good atmosphere
