I feel like when William hung himself, the rope broke, and he was left with the last option, to go back to the pizzeria and destroy the animatronics, only for him to be springlocked.

@@foredee8496 In both of these Fnaf vhs series, Afton is considered a monster, mostly fabricating his backstory and motivations. In this series, Afton made the funtime animatronics on purpose to kill even more children for fun and he’s already killed around 270 people. Joe, his friend, was killed by Ennard brutally and not through a heartattack. Michael is somehow still alive after throwing up ennard. He’s most likely doing this tape and suicide to avoid dying by Ennard

Took me a little out of the experience at the "Maybe I was not treating him (Michael) properly sometimes, but it was all because of scars left in my heart, because of my goddamn father." A very strange and unnatural line. I was also rather disappointed that after all the confession of his awareness of the monster that he is, there was not even a slightly emotional beating on the head he gave himself at the end and the reason he wanted to kill himself is still largely unclear or really just brushed over. Anyway, I advise that even so that yes, this is a non-canon take on his character, it should be taken with a grain of salt. I highly suspect he left certain things or details out in his life that would be too embarrassing or too impactful to his ego.

Yeah my life was pretty freakin' shitty so that means I have the privilege and complete 100% correct justification to abuse the people that love me and brutally rip the lives away of 11+ children and damn everyone to eternal restless suffering (if it weren't for henry and michael). and I also have the justification to back that justification with no change in opinion, guilt or remorse.

You made William an interesting character in your take in FNAF. A man with many layers to him as a character. He's much more interesting than the cannon one. I love how William did it in this tape It's interesting how William is so manipulative as he fools a lot of people into feeling bad for him. All it took was saying the right words, cry when needed, and act as though he regretted his actions. This would work for William if the other tapes didn't exist. They showed us what kind of person he really is If he really felt bad for what he did, he would have stopped it the moment he killed the first child but he didn't. He chooses to keep going and blame others for his mistake and when there's no one to blame he starts to give us crocodile tears and his backstory.

He is not wholly sympathetic here, as he brings up how he tested the Funtimes with dogs, and chuckles to himself when bringing up how Afton robotics exploited legal loopholes to get away with what they did. My Theory is that the only reason William Afton is a psychopath is because of his own father. Who treated him like trash when he was a kid. So, whenever he saw SOMEONE ELSE have some fun, the fun he never had or experienced, he felt a lot of anger, so he killed those children. So killing was pretty normal for him later on. Also he felt horrible after killing the children (in the end) . He even cried when he lost his wife.

I feel like William takes on a Joker kind of situation - He is seen as the villain. He is the bad guy. But once he starts to get into his background and his story, you can’t help but feel bad for him at some points - But once that happens, you start to feel horrible and uncomfortable because you feel bad towards someone who’s actions are inexcusable! It’s cleverly scary. This tape was incredible, and props to the voice actor. He played William’s character perfectly, and I love your lore. Well done OP.

This probably the best depiction of William afton I’ve heard. Had a bad childhood, an actual reason as to why he likes killing people instead of just immortality or vengeance and an almost completely put together breakdown of what the original games were implying

Even if it's not canon (nor real hopefully) I genuenly feel bad for the man and how it turned out. His mind got so messed up beyond salvation, all the hope for the good he could ever have was just drained early on in his life, becoming a heartless mastermind, not made but forced to destroy, not just others lives, but also his own.

His actions are very very inexcusable but I do feel bad for him tho most of the time serial killers have some sort of scar that mentally messes with them so badly it gets to the point where they turn into this monster. And then they find this way to cope or take their anger/sadness out on animals or even people. I really do feel bad for William he should not have done the things he did but it’s very saddening.

I know I have said something like this before, but I really love for you to continue with this series. Also I really love this video, cause it really helps get in William Afton's head and why he did what he did. I don't know if this is to make you hate him more or if it is to make you feel some petty and sadness to the murderer. But like I said, it helps you to get in William's headspace and to understand him better. Also like most of you, I really do think that his voice actor does a great job at bringing this crazy fucker to life and really helps with the image of the character being unstable. Especially in the second Fazebear's collection, it really shows how insane he is in the scene where he killed Susie. Great job, The dark lord k right? You did an amazing job like Twelve man _ op and the other on this series.

His past saddens me, makes me feel sorrow, and everything he had gone through until he, yknow. Will his past excuse what he did? Not at all. It's a shame what happened to him, the war, loss of family, it truly shows that he is a crazy and almost sad thing. Is he crazy??? Yes. Was he always an evil person? Not at all.

Everyones talking about the lore and all, but I just wanna talk about how much I love this voice/voice actor for William. I actually don't know what I've imagined William to sound like but I know that I've never really been too fond of his official voice in Sister Location. His voice just sounded too deep. I know, I know, "William Afton is supposed to be british where is his british accent???" but I don't care, William's voice in this video is perfect. He sounds proper like the man his character is, but his voice isn't too deep or too old sounding and I've realized that this is basically what I've imagined William Afton sounding like. I hope it doesn't sound like I'm weirdly reading into this too much lol
