WARNING! You will need 7 channels in the FMS PA-18 Super Cub in order to use all the features available. Yes 7 channels are needed in order to use the thrust reverse and all three levels of the Vector System installed in the FMS PA-18 Super Cub.
Thanks for watching and staying up to date with Fat Guy Flies RC!
You do that by hitting that thumbs up button and subscribing to my channel! Also hit that little bell and you will be notified every time I upload a video!
God bless!!

They are fun amd my strong point.
As a new flier, I have the nx10. I am very happy with Horizon Hobby's customer service also. Great fun playing with the wind.

Couldn't agree more!
Poor dog. LMAO. Just kidding . Love your channel and your love of the hobby like me. Us old guys don’t have the reflexes we use to have or the eye sight. God Bless and fly it like your buddy stole it and gave it to you. 😮

This plane has a 40amp ESC and handles 4S just fine.

I am just very cautious, if the manual says 3s only I typically follow it. But since you are not having issues I will try it then. Thanks
Same with the Turbo Timber Evo, needs 7 channels. My son has the NX6 and he was concerned he wouldn't get everything but fortunately the NX6 has the 7th "virtual" channel that we programmed for reverse. Then we used channel 5 for the SAFE/AS3X which is shared with the power wire for the nav lights. It doesn't conflict since the lights just need power, no PWM signal.

Well with this if you only want the GYRO or AS3x equivalent then the reflex does that by default and you can just power it thru a Y or the bind port.
Nice flying with the FMS PA-18 1300, the plane really shows well in the air and I love the style. I may have to add the 1300 to my 1700 because it would be easier to pop in the car.

You should! It truly is like they took the 1700 and just shrunk it.
Sounds like you need to inhibit that throttle on/off beep on the new NX10...🙂

Yeah I have not got it done on them all yet.
Thanks for doing take offs and landings in different modes.

Well I try to show all a planes has to offer.
Would you recommend a beginner put 30% expo on all controls?? I have never done a full flight out of safe mode. Only a few seconds at a time.. I am practicing on real flight though..

Yes I would. I keep most of mine there now.
Can't u put reverse on any switch thru 'forward programming' in the gyro menu? U can assign any switch (gyro most ppl use switch A (gear), but can be put anywhere with an NX8 up. Fms's gyro usually uses a 3 position switch (gotta be different 🤷♂️), & can use gear OR any other 3 pos switch. Just thinking 'out loud'. Lotta manuf still use a 6ch rx for 7-8 functions. V1200 for instance. It needs 8ch!

If your using a tX that supports forward programing. I am refereeing to just a basic receiver since a guroed receiver is not needed with the Reflex System.

@Fat Guy Flies RC Yes. I'm Purdy sure u can go thru forward programming as long as u have a digital tx. Even the nx6 (after updated) u can assign a switch to ch7. Even tho ch7 don't legally exist.

Well when I get home today I am going have to try that then.

@@FatGuyFliesRC I've done many 'different' things on my nx10se after the .08 update. What is YOUR opinion on the iX12? (U know I want an ix20se, but the $$$ is keeping me from getting one. I think I'll like the 12. IF I do, maybe I can see getting the 20se)
Hello Sir! Where did you buy those squishy wheels?

@@FatGuyFliesRC thank you for the quick response. You probably have the 1300mm model. My 1700mm came with hard tires and that was a big complaint. I thought you may have upgraded.
