It would be cool if they did like a flame effect that does like burning damage over time like a poison + initial arrows damage. Obviously not the damage of a full poison because that might be too strong but could be interesting

I agree that it kinda sucks but like it's not even that awful and the world is better when Xbow is flipping burgers Also unlike most of the other awful cards I don't think a rework could make this a healthy card unless you change it so much you effectively turn it into a completely different card altogether

@@InsertFunnyThingHere just because a group of ppl dislike a certain card that doesnt mean it shouldnt be viable i hate mother witch for example, but i would like her to be viable for the people who enjoy playing her. this is a strategy game at its core and balances should reflect that. prior to the xbow nerf a few years back, it was in a healthy spot stats wise. just a little popular because f2p friendly (same as 2.6hog or logbait). different ppl will always think the game would be better off without X or Y card. but really, as far as i can tell, the most fun that can be had in this game comes from playing the things you enjoy (they are viable) in a diverse and balanced meta (everything else is also viable)

@@SHRGP I get what you're saying but Xbow is just really defensive which is essentially the direct opposite of what the game probably should be and it's just not the healthiest card to be viable. I'd advocate for a small buff to make it still not properly viable (because I don't think it's healthy) but make it a bit better for the people that do like using Xbow, but the card isn't even THAT bad so I'm not too sure. Also for the record most decks I like to play have almost no issue dealing with Xbow (or at the very least I've never played against a good Xbow played with them) so I'm not really saying it just because I personally dislike fighting against it

@@InsertFunnyThingHere defending is part of the game bro some strats are ultra aggressive and others are ultra defensive and theres in between. defense isnt inherently bad. splashyard is defensive so is miner poison, but xbow has gotten so much hate because of certain youtubers making it basically a trend to hate on it. EVEN if none of what i just said was true, a balanced game would still be good. (balanced as in everything is balanced including xbow) because, think about it: if the meta is diverse, you wont face xbow (or any one strat) too many times in a short amount of time. even if you hate xbow so much, it will only be a fraction of your games. meanwhile, you get to play the stuff YOU enjoy because it is viable, against a diverse meta, which is way more enjoyable than a meta with essentially 2 or 3 broken decks (which is what we have now) balance benefits everyone. even if 1/15 or whatever percentage of your games might be a matchup you dont like that much, the rest will be fine. and you can also play what you like and arent automatically at a huge disadvantage if you arent using the most meta deck

@@SHRGP X-bow specifically gets hate probably because of how deflating it is when it locks on to tower. At least in my experience, if I let a Giant or something get on my tower, I am at least satisfied knowing my tower is killing it. But with X-bow, it just sucks when you're out of elixir, or just barely miss your timing and have to just sit and watch it destroy you. I agree though X-bow itself is pretty trash. But I would say that, while every card should be viable, there are a lot of cards that should definitely be niche. I don't want to play against Clone, Freeze, and Sparky Rage an equal amount as I do against Giant, Hog, or Bait. I still want them to be viable, but not strong enough to be solidly in the meta. I think X-bow ideally belongs somewhere between those two. I know defense is part of the game but surely you agree going at each other is a better experience for the player than one guy just sitting back and doing the same reactive defense the entire game then winning off of tiebreaker. That shit's lame af and I don't understand how anyone has fun playing like that.

Hi morten, love ur vids. In a future video, can you explain why every top player, including yourself, is using princess peach? Because to me this tower troop seems worse than the cannoneer. Sure, it can 1v1 medium health range troops with minimal damage, but so can cannoneer with an ice spirit, and I find later in my matches past single elixar (and in most of yours) that eventually princess peach just cant keep up, both for you and your opponent. Shes good against drill sure, but is that the only reason why? I cant find more reasons that cannoneer cant do
