WARNING!! ALL-ON-4 TEETH IN 24HRS!!!

“Teeth in 24 hours” can be so misleading. Dr. H discusses why he doesn’t do permanent teeth in 24 hrs and why. Patients spend a great deal of money to have an All on 4 Dental Implant Surgery completed. Creating your dream smile; one that can last a lifetime, with maintenance and health,
Is what we pride ourself on at Dream.
In this video Dr. H teaches about
1. The type of materials available to be used within this short 24 hour timeline. They are limited and can’t last like other stronger materials like zirconia.
2. Gums and bone change dramatically in first months creating problems thereafter
3. Functionally, the patients is shocked with having back teeth again, and this often takes time to adapt and requires adjustments before it’s static.
4. Cosmetics: Patients smiles will change in the coming months but the device can’t be changed.
5. Questions to ask your doctor. So you can what is being offered and if it meets your needs.

I'm so glad I saw this. I have an appointment at Nuvia Implant Centers next week. I'm going to cancel now and go the traditional route you described. It makes so much sense to make sure you really love what you're getting by experiencing it for a while, especially considering the expense of it all.

Much Respect to you Doctor! I’ve been doing my diligence when it comes to these procedures and for one I am still baffled as to how they can fit a prosthesis over open wounds and bone spurs that have yet to exit the gum line. What I can say is although the 24 hr turn around is all still in its infancy I can promise that they will iron out the kinks in their business model and refine the processes. Once that happens the competition will adopt the business model, ad some tweaks and run with it. Hopefully bringing the price down moving forward.

I have bad teeth also it is embarrassing. In case you think those teeth I have are real. They aren’t real. They are $40 veneer I bought off Amazon. Right now I have two infected teeth. I had one infection spread to the soft tissue and bone. Hopefully I will be able to wear my denture. Not sure that I will be able to. I am now having them pulled. For the next three weeks I am on 500 milligrams of Amoxicillin. I was extremely lucky it didn’t spread to heart or brain and kill me. You can’t put off dental work when you need implants. It can become life threatening. Call make the appointment. You can get dentures for now. Save for the implants later.

I had my implants in last September, or about 18 weeks ago. I was given back my old denture to wear home and felt so miserable but my dentist wanted to let everything heal up ready for the temps. So I go back next week to get the temporary teeth placed. After that it may still be another 5/6 months before my permanent teeth are fitted. I wanted my new teeth yesterday but I am glad my dentist is making sure everything heals. So am I because I never, ever want to go through that or have no teeth again. Ever… !

You did such a wonderful video here of explaining so many things that are involved with this procedure. I recently had to have the rest of my teeth extracted, about 6 weeks ago. I had 18 left. I just turned 65, but after 48 of having grand mal seizures, my teeth were breaking off, turning black and my whole mouth felt like one big toothache. The Dr’s said it was because I would bite down so hard during a seizure that I was wearing them down, they were cracking and my seizure meds was not helping. (Refractory Epilepsy). I live in Fort Wayne, Indiana. But no Dr’s would work with me since my case was complicated. So I was referred to IU Dental Center. After 3 weeks they made me some temporary dentures to wear. I have to wear those until I go through my 2nd surgery. They told me, I would not be getting my temporary all on 4’s until the following day after I had time to rest. Then when the implants adhere to my jawbone, they then can put the permanent ones in. Any thoughts on this? You truly are a Christian man, Blessed with Understanding, Knowledge, Love for the common folks, and excellent Communication skills. Praying you’re Blessed with that Beautiful smile forever, and you and your family stay safe. Mrs. Debbie Feighner/ Fort Wayne, Indiana.

I’m sorry my friend! Epilepsy is a terrible thing. My uncle also suffers from this. We give the temporary teeth the day after the implants are placed. Then 4-6 months after the patient heals and the implants are adhered to the bone, we deliver the permanent teeth. In some secure cases, (grinding) we have the patient heal without the bottom denture.

Kyle This is the response I gave to same question. Luke is one of the finest technicians within dentistry and I love all of his work… His cosmetic outcome is incredible. The type of device he is talking about here is much more complex and if you refer back to my other video concerning poly lithic and monolithic then you might understand why I like to keep things as simple as possible. I think you can make the case that his device here looks even more real then the average zirconia case but it is poly lithic… Meaning multiple parts which I have found creates more potential problems in the future. I prefer monolithic zirconia with custom shading and staining… As well as custom gums that can be all made within one material. Once the case is delivered you can also have the STL’s saved and used in the future if modifications are desired with a new device. I hope this helps

Makes absolute total sense. This is why I am saving up to get my teeth done at Dream Dental. Sure, it's going to cost more than a brand new car. I'd rather invest in something that lasts a lifetime that's done right instead of paying for that oral surgeon's brand new car. And if I'm going to spend 25 thousand dollars or more, then I want an A+ and a guarantee. When a doctor offers a guarantee in writing like Dream Dental, well it doesn't get better than that.

I would never have teeth implant no matter what they are made of. Because of all the side effects a foreign object can have on the imun system. It is dangerous to have rootcanals to. I almost died from them. But luckily I got them pulled and got my self removable dentures. And they functions good for me because they made them fit very good in my mouth. My poor mother have two implants in her lower jaw. And she can't have them removed. Because the dentist says it is not Possible. She has many neck problems and jaw pains. She regrets having implants and says she would never do it again. People should been told about the dangers of rootcanals and implants bafore having them. But implants are the worst because some of them are impossible to have removed. It is very sad.

Thank you so much for your informative videos! I do have a question if you could answer it that would be great. I got all on four actually on six because they (Clear Choice) thought i would need two extra because the bone on the two front teeth on top area looked weak. I got the acrylic because I couldn't afford the zircona. I was told by them that getting implants saves the bone vs wearing a denture. Since I got my top and bottom permanents the sides of my mouth are drooping my top lip is getting smaller and lookes like i smoke and sides of my lips are sagging like a resting _itch face. Is this caused from bone loss and will it get worse? Is there something I can do about it? Thank you for all you do! Your truly are a dental saint!!!

I would advise you to go back to your dentist and have them do a 3D CT scan to check the bone. There could be bone loss, it doesn't happen very often after the all on 4 procedure, but occasionally.

Why is an All on 4 the best option if you're missing all your teeth? I heard that if you lose a tooth, you will start to lose bone. Do the screws from an All on 4 provide enough bone stimulation for your whole jaw? What if you did an implant for every tooth? Is that an option?

I live near San Antonio, TX and I’m looking for a doctor to do the BEST POSSIBLE dentures but it seems impossible to find a doctor who’s capable of giving me the highest quality denture with a $1M looking smile. I’m fortunate that the finance part doesn’t really matter to me BUT I still feel like a kid lost in the woods, when it comes to locating a doctor that can, and will, provide that ‘best of the best’ service. Any advice on finding a doctor? I don’t know anyone that I could ask.

I see pictures of some people smiling who have all on 4, and they look like they have so few teeth. That doesn't seem good for the long term in regards to shape of the face changing, bone loss, etc.

Dr. H. I have been watching a number of your videos and I am very impressed by your knowledge and how committed you are to your patients. I wish I would have come to you first but I hope you can help me now. I had a 5 tooth upper front bridge that started coming out last january. The anchor teeth had deteriorated to the point where I needed a root canal in one of them. The root canal failed and the tooth broke off meaning the bridge fell off. So that’s when I started investigating options since I was missing some of the upper rear teeth anyway. The dentist I go to went over options with me and we decided he would do a 3 on 6 procedure. He told me it was a better option than a full arch. So it began. He performed the 6 implants and I went into healing mode. We decided in June he would begin the final bridges installation procedure. That is when the problems began. After he took impressions and sent them to a lab in Alabama( I live in Louisiana) they returned a single piece full arch to him. He told me that it was a mistake and he would send it back. Another month went by and when I went to see him, he had changed the procedure. He had the one piece again but said it didn’t make any difference. It didn’t come close to fitting my mouth and I kept asking why we weren’t doing the 3 bridges. He finally admitted that one of the implants wasn’t in the proper place and the lab in Alabama said they couldn’t make the 3 bridges for whatever reason( maybe too close to the edge of the device I’m guessing??). Anyway at that point I was very disappointed when he wanted to send it back again to the lab in Alabama and I asked him..”how many of these have you done?” I was shocked. He said he had never done one of these before.. At that point I asked to see the manager and asked her if any of her dentists had experience in this procedure and she said no. I was in shock of course. My dentist asked me if we could start over and I declined. So that’s where I am at now. I have 6 upper implants and no upper arch. I have researched and so far have no one in this locality that I have faith in to complete this properly. I am also impressed that you have your own lab. You have so much experience that I know I can trust. Can you help me? By the way.. I’m 71 years old..not a young person..

Had both arches in Zirconia. Because of excessive bone degradation in upper, I needed quad Zygomatics. Referred to several oral surgeons, but found there's only a few Board Certified surgeons to place these. My oral surgeon was very honest with me. Told me I really needed to wait 4 to six months prior to loading the Zygo's. Chose this route and was amazed at the tissue shrinkage months after the general surgery. The protho made some temp dentures with relief cuts for the implants. That was a waste. Did without. My temps were loaded on my implants after 6 months. Went through 5 different sets until they gave me the look I wanted and proper fit. Now have my zirconia finals and couldn't be happier. Patience can be a virtue.

Hi Christina, I would love to meet you. You are right in the fact that they are usually the temporary dentures. They are made out of a different material than the permanent ones. But they are still pretty nice. The 3 - 4 months are for the healing and for the implants to adhere to the bone. Fill out this application and I will have my office reach out to you. We answer all of your questions. form.jotform.com/201774375645058
