I found Our Rich Journey when I was 21 and leaving the military. I was living paycheck to paycheck and had a negative net worth. It depends.....if you have debt with 2% interest in a period of time where inflation is at 5% and fed rate even more.....then you effectively getting paid by having CHEAP debt now, which you will payback in future with even cheaper inflated dollars back. It depends on the perspective. Capitalism works ONLY on credit, so without debt the system wouldn't work. It would be another system, maybe less corrupt and criminal, but definitely a different one. In the actual setting in US, having cheap debt is almost better then the best investments out there. :)))

Studied the terminology of the stock market for 2 years and then jumped in. The greatest decision I made. Did I make some mistakes? Yeah, of course it's part of learning something new. This guy told me on Friday that he has money saved but doesn't know what to buy (in 2020, he lost big on chasing the trend stock). So, I told him to research ETFs and REIT stocks. Most people do not want to put in the work to learn about something that's beneficial to them.

I didn't have the financial literacy in my 20s to understand the importance of a 401k or Roth IRA. I was never taught things like investing but I'm glad I found financial channels that have taught me to be better with money

I buy $5 fractional shares using Fidelity.

The first thing to do is not to have money going out such as ANY type of NEGATIVE flow such as LOANS personal Auto Loans....Nip it in the Bud.....This will help in keeping money and developing a habit of managing a positive Flow ......

By the time you hear about a good investment, its already too late. Buy/hold broad market index funds and sleep well knowing you're beating 95% of investors over the long haul.

You're inspiring me to grow my confidence on investing myself sooner than later. I am currently using a very good and trustworthy financial advisor but two years from now (or sooner) I will shift to doing it myself and change my relationship with my advisor into hourly fees or per project fee versus my present agreement with him of 1 percent of my total assets. I chose this strategy at the moment because of the major life transitions I am going through. Once more things get settled down emotionally and mentally, and I have educated myself more in investing, I will manage my own investments. Your video has inspired me to envision this reality a true possibility and has given me so much confidence. God bless you and more power to you. Thank you again for sharing your knowledge with us.

all the broker platforms that arent for professional trading are going to have pretty much the same functionality. i opened my first brokerage account with schwab and no complaints. you can do a little research there may be slight current advantages/disadvantages between brokers based on fees or interest earned on uninvested cash in your account. selecting good assets is really the important thing
