A mother a father and their 12 year old son was killed. He was a special needs kid and his parents did EVERYTHING in their power to give him a normal life. Now god has called them home. No more suffering.. please lord give your name in the hearts of their families for I know they are hurting.

Such beautiful words. I do not hear people describe things in this way. My twin grandbabbies were born at around 19 weeks. When I describe it some people think I am crazy. It was one of the most powerful things I have ever seen. I got to see them come into this world and then pass away in the next. My two baby angels.

If we follow this theory to its logical conclusion, we would have to conclude that God and Satan are working together. But Jesus nipped that theory in the bud when He said " ...the thief cometh to steal, kill, and destroy; I am come that they might have life, and have it more abundantly." He's letting us know in plain words that all disasters and carnage and death in the world from past to present are not originated from Him. They are done exclusively by the Devil. Jesus also said in John 5 that He will raise us up from the dead and give eternal life to those of us who have been faithful, and eternal death to those who have done evil at His third coming. So nobody is taken to heaven before Christ's second coming. Whatever death we die in this life, we wait for that second coming to receive eternal life.

It happened New Years night, actually. I was there right after it happened. You’d think the drunk drivers would be off the road by then. Really tragic and unnecessary because of a few peoples bad decisions. I feel horrible for the family who apparently was just driving along until the drunk driver rear ended them. It’s actually a pretty simple and safe part of the freeway so I can’t imagine how drunk they had to have been to cause this tragedy.

I'm 56 now, but when I was 18, I knowingly traveled as a passenger in a car driven by a guy who was drunk. We crashed but we all survived and praise be to God that no one else was involved. Even now, when I think back to that night it makes me shudder and feel such remorse to think what I might have put my parents through had the outcome been different. I learnt from my mistake.

It's an interesting fact that with many or even most people it isn't death of oneself that is the biggest concern but what family and friends are going to think and how they'll react. One more thing, to all of those who are complaining and whining that this is not graphic, you are not "looking" at the entire "picture". Any loss of life, no matter where it happens, the roads, the streets, the hood...etc. It's all tragic and graphic. If you own a car, if you drive, if you're a passenger in a car, truck, bicycle, etc -- someday it can happen to you, me, a loved one. That is graphic and tragic. If you need more, there are websites for that kind of stuff. LLN reports these events day and night, which requires work, time, and effort. I think LLN does a great job.

That vehicle is so mangled it looks like it fell out of the sky. That is just so horrific

Some of ya'lls comments are just heartless. Ya'll should be ashamed of yourselves. What if this was your family how would you feel if people made these kind of comments? My wife and I rolled up on this scene right after it happened and it was a family of 5 that was in the embankment. The screams of what happened, where am I, is my family okay and I DONT KNOW WHAT HAPPENED because some careless person hit them from behind. That family lost a husband and a 12 year old son. My heart hurts for this family

You have my sympathy for having to hear and seen what you and your wife did that night. Be sure to take care of each other, ask each other how they're doing about the incident. People can have PTSD if they try to push tragic situations down, typically feeling guilty because the wreck didn't happen to them...but YES in fact you both were victims to. Be easy on yourselves. 💜

Two years ago I had my life turned upside down and it still resonates with me today. Recovery knows no time limits. Also, thank you for providing some context on exactly what happened here.

RIP 🕊️ This happens a lot in Phoenix. I use to live in Florida and I thought the drivers were crazy there. Apparently, everywhere is getting more dangerous on the roads. Stay safe out there.

Very sad and tragic. Prayers for the loved ones who passed away. I pray that the families of the decreased have the support they need while they grieve the loss of they're loved ones. Not sure how the horrible accident occurred and who's at fault, that doesn't matter right now anyways. People are just to much in a rush and are taking so many risks. And drugged/drunk driving is a large distraction and cause of the accidents that law enforcement is seeing. These drivers that are high and/or drunk are causing multiple people to die because they won't let someone bring them home using they're vehicles. They think they will be fine and then they end up driving the wrong way and end up killing innocent people. Also we got people who speed and end up crashing into innocent folks and end up killing people. It's a damn shame.

I wanted to see the dead bodies….like the caption promised. I’m curious as to what a person looks like after a horrific accident because I have decided to study medicine and want to be a coroner some day. I want to see what happens to the human body when it’s traumatized in a crash…..you know, to study the injuries and perhaps, come up with better safety features in cars to prevent such injuries. The police, firemen, doctors look at horribly traumatized bodies all the time because they learn from them. Some of y’all better grow up and accept the fact that human beings are curious creatures. I’d you don’t like that….that’s your problem. I don’t appreciate clickbait because someone wants views….that’s deceitful. There is nothing graphic to see in this video.

Why oh way do people continue to drink & drive ? My husband almost died 9 yrs ago from being hit head on by very impaired young driver , it change him he had 16 broken bones was in a coma for a week & could never go back to work & as time has gone by different neurological issues have presented themselves he has ptsd now …so this is why I ask the question why do people continue this behaviour, I am sorry for the people that were injured or died because of someone else’s choice because it is a choice to get behind the wheel of a killing machine 🙏🕯💔😢

Yeah, I've had my share of driving while intoxicated - from pretty much 17-18 til the last time I drove buzzed or more. I got a dwi In June 1998 while driving through the Midtown Tunnel from Manhattan to Queens and I made that THE last time. That is the period of time just before widespread confiscation of vehicles for driving drunk and "normal" fines became huge fines. I don't know if vehicles are still confiscated for dwi, but regardless it's not worth the financial risks and ESPECIALLY the human risks. Edit: to me the SUV that rolled into the drainage canal is a GM vehicle - either Suburban or Escalade. Not seeing the other car still on the roadway. Viscous.

Condolences to the families. Speed Kills Always Wear Your Seatbelt. If you want to race do it at the track. It's 2022 why havnt people learnt this yet. I truly think they need to film close what the impact does to a human body show it at schools of better still take all kids at driving age to the morgue and show them in person what speed/impact does to a human body.

My school did show us a video in 10th grade. When I took driver’s Ed. I remember seeing folks dead in their car. One particular body still had eyes open. As if the impact happened suddenly and violently to a point of instant death.

Seat belts keep you in the vehicle for better or for worse. In this case, if they had been wearing their seat belt they would not have been thrown from the vehicle…..and likely would have survived.

People have no idea how difficult it is to make it to these scenes on time, video them, see actual real people injured and dead, get interviewers, edit the footage, download to youTube for approval and then re-edit everything KZread tells you is wrong w/ the video before they allow it to be viewed. Well, what was so graphic about this video? Make us understand. I live in Florida and this stuff happens all the time. I’ve become numb to it but it’s part of life and people better get used to it because it’s only going to get worse in the decades to come. Manufacturers producing cars that can go up to 160mph……people not paying attention…..using cell phones while driving, etc…..it’s going to get much worse in the future. This is just the tip of the iceberg. Also, a dead person lying on the ground covered up is not graphic unless you feel that yellow sheets are scary there was nothing graphic to see. A smashed up car you can see everyday so that’s nothing graphic….my neighbor has two smashed up cars in his backyard. There is NOTHING to see. Where are the graphic parts. The bodies are covered up and it’s dark….again….nothing graphic to see. The vehicle is smashed up and lying in a gulch or something…so what? A smashed vehicle is graphic? OMG! Some of you people better place yourselves in a bubble for the rest of your life because car crashes are only going to get worse in the decades to come ……people not wearing their seat belt….talking on their cell phone or texting and driving and car manufacturer producing vehicles to can go as fast as 160mph. This crash is nothing compared to what lies ahead in the future and r compared to what happened to five of my classmates back in 1981. Car crashes are part of life…..get a thick skin now because the future holds much worse on our highways. You ain’t seen nothing yet.
