Great report, some things you don't mention (initially at least) regarding bringing back Banes is that Scaverous can add models with Excarnate.

Also Tartarus is actually quite efficient at adding Banes.

Did you remember about Scaverous's Breathtaking aura? Erebus should be hitting the Archidon at effective MAT 7 vs DEF 12 so on 5+. Also I love how these differently named Cryx auras combine with each other - Breath Taker+Mortal Fear or Unhallowed + Mortal Fear :)

Hello there! We're currently shifting back and forth between 75pt and 100pt battle reports for the channel. First year of MKIV Iron Gauntlet (IG) and the World Team Championship (WTC) has been announced at 75pts for 2023. Local tournaments in the NE US have been a healthy mix of both point formats. We think larger point events will become more prevalent once there are more MKIV armies and models available. **edit** As of 21 March, WTC updated their points to a 100pt event!

Annecdotally 75 points is the standard in most meta atm.

@@rule-of-three1483 not just battlegroup points, also the loss of 12-16 free points from themes, 75pt mk3 lists were like 115-120 points, the list bloat was insane.

I thought Erebus freezes on hit with his claws. Just need to hit once with a claw

at 5:44, you how the Paingivers' weapon, but I guess you wanted to show their ability wich do basically the same but since you can't attack your own models..

Good BR, one question on rules - do the models brought back get to do anything this activation? From how I understood the rule, the skip both movement and combat, and if a unit moves and some models have to skip movement and combat they are removed, no?

Hey there! Models who are returned to play can not activate. However, they move with the rest of the unit as normal but do not have an attack action. This was recently addressed by Travis Marg on PP's social media :)

This actually gets a mention in the rulebook, in Unit Movement, something along the lines "if a model is suffering an effect that forbids it to move...". That said unit movement rules in this edition are a can of worms that shouldn't have been opened.

@@robertchmielecki2580 yes but there is also a mention that if a model cant move and cant forfeit something its removed. Me and friends read it several times and we thought that models that are brought back basically root down the unit

New cryx player here, is scavs good? He seems like hes really bad, his feat sucks when you have almost no spells to cast lol, bringing back 1 dead grunt is bad, his attack spells ar e meh, the only one that seems good is move a thing 2 inches, which i guess could be good on feat turn but it just seems like he offers nothing for banes aside from 1 dead grunt a turn 😊
