CONSISTENCY IS KEY! Whether it be for an average practice or a big competition, beginning each twirling day in the right headspace is vital. I was able to control and hone in on this headspace by being consistent with my warm up regimen! Today, I want to share the regimen I perfected, so come warm up with me!
I want to help you reach your twirling goals, so please leave any comments or questions you have for me below!

Thank you so very much for making and sharing this great video. We have a group of three middle school twirlers who will find this challenging. They are all at home for social distancing. I was a twirler in hi school in the ‘80’s and started the girls. I love seeing all the twirls we never thought of. Please share more. It is a pleasure to watch you and see my girls dream big! @@AdiTwirls i am 52 now but had a baton when I was 12. it was an extension to my arm but I grew up in a ghost town where there was no opportunity for baton lessons or majorette in school etc... unfortunately no internet back then, but I recently discovered you on You Tube and now I am convinced i can rekindle my youth, learn the baton tricks you teach and twirl happily ever after. LOL. So i am twirling with my baton from 40 years ago and looking forward to getting the right size when your video comes out. :-)

I’ve never really had a warmup I’ve always just stretched and worked my way up the scale of tricks easiest to hardest, but now I can be more warm thank you! Your videos are so helpful especially you illusion and spin technique videos I learned my illusions the wrong way so it was very helpful!

Awesome video! I really love the professional nature of your videos with the lighting, music, thorough explanation, various angles, and your ambidextrous demonstrations. The best! Do you ever perform with fire?

@@AdiTwirls I visited Hawaii for the first time back in 1988 where me and my family went to an all you can eat Luau dinner. There were on stage entertainers who were singing, Hula dancing, and Tahitian dancing and as the finale a big Samoan guy goes up on stage with these 2 flaming torches. Then they turned out all the lights. Wow! I was floored right then and there. That was the very first time I saw fire twirling and his performance spoke to me. I came back to the states and started practicing on my own through videos in slow motion. I spent years learning and practicing and I got burned and injured so many times that I lost count, but it was worth it. Of course, the moves that I do are mediocre in comparison to what you do. You're awesome! I could never do the neck rolls, monster rolls, elbow rolls, or elbow pops, or illusions. I just don't have the flexibility and would end up in the hospital attempting them. Lol! Did you go through training injuries?
