Wizard roasted his ass without magic
The funny thing is every “regular” warlock has to pick up the finger paints to access their patron. What I mean by regular is say having to: summon a demon through spell circle; having to use different tools and telescopes to contact an aberrant dead star; having to force dreams onto themselves to contact the eldritch god of the deeps. However that isn’t necessary for weapon patron’s, or fey patron’s. However there are always outliers that are demons chained up deep below the wizard school, or eldritch stuck in a cave just chillin.

@@Merilirem That's what I wanted to do. So, my sorcerer is actually curious about the nature of magic, he wants to understand his powers and how they work. The reasons why he works as a teacher in a magic school go FAR beyond the income. As a professor, he gains access to a number of ancient tomes and forbidden scrolls that he could never read otherwise. He also genuinely enjoy teaching, he likes the contact with his students so that's a bonus.
In the words of Yahzick "you don't even want a dose of the smoke".

“You are still grasping at straws on the grabby claw machine of the arcane! You think licking the heels of a demon makes you some all-knowing arcane artisan?! It seems you’ve gotten drunk on your outer god’s spunk!”
The wizard learns vicious mockery.
“We’re bringing bringing bringing it back, FIREBALL!”
Our friend the Wizard has the jovial personality of someone who glimpsed too far and now bears the burden of terrible truth, hiding it from it and protecting others with a flippant attitude.
This dude is 100% a member of the Shadow Wizard Money Gang.
sick. that went so hard.
"Yet you know so little of the cosmos! The things I have been shown would drive a regular man mad! I have been chosen though by a power greater than you could ever imagine!"
With an intimidation check that good I'm even more convinced that they are a sorcerer
"Shut the hell up before I sneak attack hexblade smite you for three times your hp."
I wanted that to end with "Ah, okay, there it is! Yeah, I was just waiting for the condescending lecture. You're a wizard, all right"
Wouldn't you be able to tell based on the arcane focus he is using? Do wizards and Sorcerer's have any shared arcane focus types? I am obsessed with this storyline lol.
I love the dynamic of a wizard and sorcerer because unless the sorcerer has actually studied anything about the arcane they should know like nothing about it. And I just think it's such a funny concept like you're in a party and your only magic focused character is a sorcerer and you need to solve an problem that requires heavy knowledge of the arcane and then it just turns out that you're fighter will make just as good as a guess as the sorcerer because he knows just as much about how magic works
Meanwhile, I'm still here just you know doing floating skull things...
The wizard is mad and I love its
The grandstanding about how others dont understand magic should be proof enough.😂
All that wizard knows fireball and you damn well know it
Hes a Sorcerer He using Intimidation quite effectively and proficiently Thats a Charisma based skill
"Ritual cast something for me then."
COLD
"Should we step in?" "Probably...." "Are we gonna?" ".... No"
Arguing about knowledge of magic and education, definitely a wizard
Seems like he took proficiency in intimidation. That seems like something a charisma based caster would do, like a sorcerer.
Damn you can act! It'd be SO fun to improv with you at the table!!
He's a very educated sorcerer 😂
A good idea would be having the wizard meet his patreon the floating head
When your wizardry is mistaken for sorcery, the best way to clear up the confusion is to whip out your incredibly intricate, overly complicated, hardcover spell book, and cast silence on the accuser by striking them with it.
Never EVER underestimate the guy that's trykng hia best to be all cheery chipper. They are usually, if they stop trying, the strongest or darkest you might find.
::pulls out spell book:: If I killed a wizard, I get his powers, right?
Why the wizard so confrontational. Brother calm down, it was just a question 😭😂
I get that there's probably no real truth yet, but my best guess is it's a wizard Magic Jarred into a sorcerer
the rogue following Arkane Trickster:
I really love this party. It feels like home.
this wizard must be a bard using a deception check because they would never say we should step outside to use fireball. All places is game on fireball.
Nah, when the wizard went off like that, that’s what would confirm that he’s a wizard to me
Yeah i have fireball d8 hit dice, light armor, invocations, a stat that use something and a pouch full of gold coins, which you will never have one.
And it was at this point that the Netherese Lich Patron of the Warlock reminds the Wizard that they too have barely scratched the canvas that is magic.
Magic man is really threatening the guy that most likely can turn invisible with his +32 to stealth and then sneak attack your throat xD
"Are you a wizard? 9_6"
That got intense
Got a notification for a "do we pvp?" video (or smth like that I don't fully recall the name) While this isn't what I was expecting I'm not disappointed
If you are a wizard, proove it by showing your spellbook.
Sorcerers know how to use magic. Wizards know how magic works. Warlocks hope their patron's magic doesn't cost them another testicle.

To be fair some walocks are no even aware they are and accidentally got powers by going insane by looking at cthulu and waking up with tentacle powers but are so mad they are unaware that tjey are doing anything and are just incredibly clumsy and lucky and not that tentacles ares protecting them from danager. Or a fey patron may trick a warlock thinking she is a magic teacher by pretending to teach their warlock fake magic theory just to troll on some wizards for the lols sounds very plausible to me 😂 My point being unaware warlocks need some love as character concepts.
Why do i feel like this is something magnificus from Inscryption would say, specifically the part with the finger paint.
Yup. That's a wizard alright.
I would like a educational class on the differences between warlock wizard and sorcerer in dnd
Take his spell book and then ask him to swap spells the next day!
