I remember first getting my GameCube with this and Wind Waker. Both still some of my favorites to this day!

If you know your history, there is no way Treasure was going to put a bad game out here. They were perfect for Wario, it's unique and weird.

Great review! Wario World was a really well done game--I never understood why we didn't see a follow up! Both the kiddo and I really enjoyed it and it definitely deserves to be in every GC collection--but wow, I didn't know it was getting to be so pricey!

Thanks! It was a really interesting review! In fact, the Gamecube was not popular in Russia (yeah-yeah... I'm from Russia...). Playstation 2 was the most popular gaming system of that generation. But I bought a Wii U (not a new one) in 2022 and now I can play Gamecube video games. They are sooooooooo cool and unique! Right now I'm playing Metroid 2: Echoes. Gamecube and its games are awesome!

Wario Land 4 is great!

Im so glad I got this game back when it released. One of the funniest games of all time. I always was frustrated with how short it was because it’s so damn fun!

i constantly wonder why there hasn't been any form of follow up - this game is such a pure and unique experience! when i was a kid the game kept me very busy despite being extremely short, but returning to the game recently it only took me about 2 days of off and on playing to fully complete. i totally agree that the game should be way longer but i think it's a lot better that the game's main flaw is its length rather than it being a much longer game with a ton of reused assets and repetitive gameplay.

I didn't have a game boy growing up but I always wanted to play one of the Wario games. Later on when I had a gamecube I saw this and had to get it so this was my first experience to a Wario game. At the time I played it it didn't feel like the typical Mario game, it felt more like a beat em up mechanic, but nevertheless I loved it and playing it only made me crave more Wario experiences. Later on I got a 3ds and bought the first three Wario land games on the eshop (still sad it's closing down soon) and can honestly say they are some of the best games I've ever played.

Me and my parents alike both played the hell out of wario world when I was a kid! Decided to look it up in youtube to see if anyone else appreciated this hidden gem, happy to see other people appreciate how damn good of a game this was. Not sure if you’ve done a video on it yet, but what’re you thoughts on Luigi’s Mansion? That’s another one me & my parents loved, that’s still one of my all time favorite games.

@@RetroWolf88 what's your definition of hidden gem. Like the new generation wouldnt know the game. Well yea that applies to most games. I just feel like everyone who gamed back then knew about it. They dont talk about cause it's honestly not as good as banjo kazooie or mario 64. Conker is even more well known cause of its humor more then anything.

Wario is a big favouite character of mine. Any game with his name attached I'll always pick up and play. I did enjoy this one a lot and really need it back as I only rented back in the day. Great review 😎🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿☕🤟

I discovered this game this year for the Dolphin emulator when I was looking for a game to play as Wario after I played Super Mario Strikers and Mario Superstar Baseball. Wario World is absolutely awesome!

Wario world doesn't get love for the same reason alot of the GameCube games don't. I wasn't aware for the longest time it was a commercial failure, it's sad they never upgraded it. It's a wonderful system that had some of the best games, mostly platformer one's in my opinion. Nintendo just didn't give Wario a fair shake, shit he didn't even appear in the movie, which I think is a shame. He'd of been a great side character, maybe show up and steal king bowsers treasure when he wasn't looking.

Wario is never going to be a long game, that's why you hardly ever see the games. There is only so much you can do with Wario. WarioLand 4 is still the best out of all the games..

Who cares? Lol literally everyone I have ever heard say Wario pronounces it the exact same way I do but at the end of the day what does it matter? Imagine wasting time commenting on how someone pronounces something haha 🤣
