I do hope that, at some point, they do add a level were you do fight alongside friendly NPC forces, similar to a Stormvermin patrol but on your side. Only as a temporary measure for a certain section of the game, perhaps during the defense of the Castle or some other major battle, but it would be nice to see an actual, visible response beyond just the five heroes fighting back. Maybe make them a troop of Halberdiers or Greatswords or something like that, but a proper section were it actually feels like you're part of a proper faction fighting back against the hordes of Chaos and Destruction would be nice.

That's what i've been saying! I get that to make the player feel dread and despair, they don't add friendly troops , but c'mon! After a while doesn't even feel like the Empire is fighting back! I long for a few levels where you feel like you are fighting alongside a true army!

@@aitnobetafaq hopefully darktide has more NPC interaction, an "escort the patrol/protect the civilians" mission sounds really cool, Most we got in V2 was freeing people from cages

Jesper Kyd is a fucking musical genius, this track is so perfect for this trailer and all his tracks are perfect for the game.

Judging from the events of the trailer, I’m assuming the ostlander guards were actually holding the line against the ratkin... until Chaos arrived.

Those Imperial soldiers were Ostlanders. You can tell by the black and white uniforms. Ostland is one of the northern provinces bordering Kislev. Their harsh lands are sparsely populated and they themselves are generally poor. Northmen raids are common in Ostland, and whenever a Chaos invasion makes it through Kislev, it ususlly pushes into Ostland on its way to the great cities of Middenheim and Altdorf. I like how this trailer is what a proper tabletop board essentialy would look like in the perfect enviroment. The fact that it's a still-image trailer reinforces that. It's pretty cool.

Yeah, Warhammer universe would have been great on screen. Lots of base material, and yet a lot of space to make new stories. Just imagine a trilogy ending with the End Times.

This trailer was a fantastic spectacle to be witness to and The ending scene were the Heroes of Ubersreik stand against the mass horde of combined Skaven and Chaos brings a tear to my eye. Splendid work Fatshark, I await patiently for its console release/beta

In Vermintide 2 beta you can't change your helmet, there was only one option. So they are new in Vermintide 2.

FOR SIGMAR - this game is pure epicness

This is exactly why you put a tier III garrison in Helmgart in every play through of Total War.

Somebody had a ton of fun showing off the assets and the feel of the game. Very well done.

I'll admit it... I'm impressed. Keep this up and I might not find you contemptible.

I would have loved a CGI trailer like in VM1, feels now a little like a downgrade. Its still good but you feel like something is missing, just like the ending cause there's no actual ending while there was one in VM1..Dissapointing, however those two things are REALLY minor so eh, still love it :D
