Clan Cancer Patient, yes, or looking like - “What if Powder, from his 1995 film, went grimdark...and I guess, returned to his home planet?” Otto Van Saar, the 22nd? That's quite a lineage, and even longer so due to his and his predecessors' vitality-extending measures. Archeoteks reminding me even more strongly of Dark City's Strangers. I have gotta wonder as to the purpose of that linked...coil, frontal whip, metal loincloth hanging from the midriffs of their suits. They appear similar to the tentacle-like attachment that's connected to the back of the skull of Einer Hardaachen, who's shown after 4:45. This house's members' overall style, especially shown here, invoke H.R. Giger's influence. Prety neat and sleek-looking insectile helmets. They certainly appear as though an average tek could easily match then outmatch typical PDF, arbites or even garrisoned Guard which would thereby be a strong reason for the nobles' “grudging respect”. Owing nearly entirely to their possession of an STC, I'm also curious what standards the Van Saar use to set limitations upon their archeoteks' inventions and experiments involving lost technology Gotta like, a lot, those grav-cutters surfin' and cruisin' the breathing space of a typical hive. That's pretty awesome that this faction of techlords and hoarders include their own branch of misfit, air boardin' biker mech nerd dudes. Grimdark far future surf ninjas. Because the Van Saar are so protectively gear-fixated and honed so that each member's a specialist is likely what accounts a great deal for how organized they are. It was interesting, and as per the grav-cutters un expectedly fun, to learn about these layers of this organization. Sickly but scientific. I can imagine Mike one of those alien xenomorph facehuggers making a thing with these guys oh boy you know how that is I remember playing that game aliens versus predator Extinction Oh man they had some of the most vicious xenomorph's in the game Also read some of the alien comic books back in the day that also had some vicious ones too of course We all know the Tyranids are offshoot of these guys 😃👍

@@donright4492 I remember the original 1999 PC Aliens vs. Predator FPS the most...the Aliens were scary-fast in that game. I have the strongest fond memories of the A vs. P arcade game, that included Ahnie's Dutch character from the first movie and the female lead character from the original 1990 Dark Horse comic miniseries. There were a lot of different xenomorphs in that one and I've been looking at several of the Dark Horse Aliens comics again in the past couple of years too. Formulaic but fun.

You mean build *for* the authorities, that tends to keep you out of trouble. Also, everything they make and openly use is 'standard Imperial tech'- just of high quality 'artisan' level.
