my favorite part is that the Necron sounded more organic towards the end whereas Faustinius became more "ascended mechanical" towards the end of mechanicus 1's trailer

In ADMECH 1 it's "the machine is immortal" but in this trailer it's "we are immortal". Love the reflection of the speech throughout the trailer.

it's soo good. The way the techpriest's speech was reverent and filled with zeal and determination to serve the machine god, against the necron lord saying that they enslaved their gods

The music still gives me chills. I also love the homage to the Mechanicus 1 opening, the necrons are as disgusted by the tech-priests as the tech-priests are of their own flesh.

the feels from this trailer... the music worthy to be a successor of the first game... dreams come true

I'm pretty sure this trailer suggests that we will be able to step into the shoes of the Necrons this time as well. Either way, I can't wait for this.

Maybe not infamy, but I think the final lines has some of that Necron dread/hype: "The stars were young when our empire was ascendant. And when the last of them die, we alone will remain." (Edit 1: correction) (Edit 2: Also, the quote maybe isn't fully accurate to the background lore, but it's still kinda neat)

i don't think it will either. the techpriests speech has excellent rythm and character, the voice is beautiful. It's exudes humanity and desire, how can we relate to an immortal necron like that?But if the game have the angle in wich the necrons want to restore their bodies that would be awesome, that i would understand and empathise with. Wouldn't that be so bewildering to the techpriests? sjdajksjkdajks

That music! I can't state enough just how good Mechanicus music is. Probably one of the best video game soundtracks ever made.

This trailer truly shows how much they know their fanbase.

As long as Guillaume David is composing the soundtrack again (which it sounds like it), I will buy this IMMEDIATELY

For years I waited and did not understand why no attempt was given to the probably best w40k turn based strategy game.

Was half expecting a half dozen tech adepts to be fiddling with his throne when he opened that door.

I have accessed my emotional engrams, they return excitement and elation.

I love the parallel of the necron’s speech to the og mechanics speech.

Everything about the audio here is beyond perfect. Voice acting, sound design (that modulation is sublime), musical direction, and, it goes without saying, the music itself. An absolute master class

The second game I completed on my Steam Deck, and what basically helped seal the deal for me finally being in the hobby...with my first two armies as Adeptus mechanicus and Necrons. Holy blessed Omnissiah! A sequel! My flesh is so ready for this!!!

I always find it funny how necrons says it "stars were young when our empire was" dude chill. You've lived for 5 million years and slept 60. Its a mere 65 million years in the cosmic scale. I LOVE necrons but their theatrics are hilarious! Got to find ways to not go insane I guess 😂😂

I think what they mean is that they are the oldest species that's survived so long. Old ones are dead, c'tan gods of the material plane are imprisoned by the necrons and eldar and orcs came a bit after. It makes sense if you don't just look at the surface value

Children of the Omnissiah playing at the end is Chef's kiss. I got goosebumps and tears in my eyes.

That was the least expected, yet the most welcomed announcement.

When I finally get to hear the soundtrack for this game, I’m gonna shed a single crocodile tear. The soundtrack for the first game came at a time of many highs/ups in life. So I associate that soundtrack with many good memories… I can’t wait!

There is nothing more glorious than when the necrons got you on the ropes and you think you are about to lose then you roll a super lucky critical at the last minute and then the soundtrack kicks in and you turn the turn the tide of battle and start taking the fight to them😭😭😭

I'm more excited for the new music that this will bring than I am for the gameplay lol, not that it was bad. I just freaking loved the soundtrack so much.

The Omnissiah has blessed this year's Skulls event with the motive force! Seriously, the reveals this year for the line-up of licensed 40k games (new titles, sequels, updates to on-going titles) has been impressive, to put it mildly.

I didnt even play first game, but I'm glad we get to listen to some new soundtrack from this game!
