I've been using this build for awhile now. It's so good that my melee mechanics have gotten worse. Had to relearn them when I went back to playing veteran. "If you've got a horde, just swing your sword." Spitting bars even when he doesn't mean to.

For bosses, I found that doing a chain heavy then activating the ability does massive damage against bosses compared to doing the charge then chain heavy.

Nay, less points for other talents and you don't need the flame Grenade since you have the shotgun. Revolver is nice but I prefer the shotty since I'm so aggressive in close range and the knives supplement my revolver needs

@@RealAsianRobot Only a branching node is lost in swapping to use the grenade. Personally I'm not a fan of knives, my ranged weapon performs better unless it's a flamer.

I think everyone has very often had a Veteran that sprints off ahead then gets downed, expecting the rest of the team to go pick them up.😂 Not releasing that while they was sprinting ahead the alerted every single enemy they skipped.

Yeah there are often a few folks like that. But it's all good. I just carry the bad players or block the ones that act toxic

I need to roll a decent MKXV. I rolled a beefy crucis hammer and I'm going to see how consecration goes with that first.

ive found that you can activate the dash after the special attack has already connected for more damage

Yes, but it's usually a waste as activating just before will one shot a crusher as shown. You could theoretically double activate if you wanted to, but that's up to you on monstrosities

But also it contained a risk that target instant died and you charged to a horde of crusher or in my case a Deamonhost

Does the burning from the shot gun affect subsequent attacks on the target. Ie does it reduce targets armour

No. It just deals burn damage, it can apply some "on hit" effects such as Thunderous. But this is more to do with coding problems in the game 🤣🤣 that some individuals attempt to exploit. Some stuff that shouldn't apply, will apply even if unintended. Realistically the burning shot does one thing. It burns the target. That's it.

I've found success with the kantrael sniper build b4, basically no falloff and tighter spread, if you aim down your shots , it one taps flak troops and 2 taps everything else

@curveofsound any build on my channel is only posted if it's win rate is higher than 75%. I don't post builds below that unless there is a very good reason to do so (I.e. people really want it)

Charge/ultimate has one more property; it's a small AOE mini stun of enemies before you so when you know it's not enough time to swing yours sword you can use it like a taran of sort that will stagger enemies let's say. In every game mobility skill is good anyway

@@Jhosk95 Honestly, I've seen his stream, he is a decently skilled player. But a very selfish and toxic player, I'd never play with someone like that. "My team isn't doing anything, look at my damage". Well, your team would deal more damage and be more agressive if you wouldn't constantly hoard all the ammo and medicate because you think you "will get more value out of it". He also doesn't use anything else than meta builds, and he is using mods I would consider cheats, like one that shows all rows solution to the hack terminal minigame.

Man, I had no idea the shotgun fire shots went straight through armor and such...

Which is great....but the problem is ranged enemies lol. Flamethrower is fine if you have someone else taking care of ranged enemies for you. I just never trust randoms

The special has a lot of penetration, so if ennemies are in a corridor, like Metalfab or Archivum Sycorax, you can pretty much destroy anything in front (except Crushers and Mutants) of you after 2-3 dragon shots. And like Mr Robot said, it also penetrates Bulwark shields.

@@fredericbrasseur7399 Exactly, it is best used to just shred hordes of Maulers, Bulwarks, Ragers, anything in a tight corridor that you can funnel into your fire :)

I’ve been using the Columnus v with this build. Deals with armour very well when you use your ability. Not sure if it’s as good as the shotgun though

It's alright, but struggles against Bulwarks. That's why the shotty is used. Fire penetrates everything and clears Bulwark hordes in maelstrom 😁👍
