Wanna know a cool little detail? MetalGreymon’s Face Mask doesn’t turn into the one on WarGreymon’s face, it actually splits into two and becomes the Brave Shield. It’s quick, but you can see it by going frame by frame just as it appears. It’s hinted at when the Crest of Courage appears on top of it. It also explains why the Crest of Friendship wasn’t on WereGarurumon’s body during his sequence because it’s nowhere on MetalGarurumon’s armour. It’s a really subtle attention to detail!

Not only his helmet, every metal part transfers over. His arms become the claws (more obvious but can’t leave it out) and MetalGreymon’s chest plate actually becomes WarGreymon’s belt and leg armor

Honestly, I liked Warp Digivolution, it was amazing symbolism for the heroes moving and looking forwards, as intense, high-octane power they can barely even _try_ to contain bursts forth to propel them to new heights, moving ever onwards. It had a different feeling than just a regular evolution, and it's something I'd really like to see them bring back later on.

This evolution sequence is absolutely incredible. It brought a tear to my eye because it took me back and made me feel the same sense of awe that Augumon's very first warp digivolution did. I have some issues with the pacing of this reboot, but I really look forward to the new episodes because I love it so much. Thank you for giving us old fans something we can love too.

Amazing wargreymon is back with a few upgrades too he bigger and his shield is automatic defense! Glad all the megas are scaled to size now cant wait for rosemon

Lillymon has always been as small as Mimi (in the original and this reboot) compared to Togemon which is huge, and from the little we saw of Rosemon in Tri (and that of Savers too) she is barely 2m tall maximum. So she probably won't have a size buff like Wargreymon.

Yeah wargreymon size has always been rather inconstant. In adventure he was just big enough for taichi to sit on his back, in our war game he was about as big as adventure greymon(maybe a bit bigger) and in tri he was slightly bigger than he was in adventure, which made it so taichi could sit on his shoulders. I'm fine with a massive wargreymon. But I'm kinda gonna miss the small version

Well i only watched first 3-4 eps I don't feel anything wrong about him evolving to omegamon I think i heard agumon and gabumon already unlocked their megas evolution way before the story start in past? And omegamon was the royal knight who will appear to save digital world from any threat and the threat happen in first few eps can be said huge if it continues like keramon in first move And so either yggdrasil made it so gabumon and agumon able to fuse and become omegamon again with help of matt and taichi to stop tge threat Of course i don't know if this reboot will show if there yggdrasil or not

That was just a taste of power. A brief power up that gives the heroes strength far beyond what they would normally have for a short time in order to show how far they will become other on. Kind of like the Gold Cloth from Saint Seiya.

Not my favorite Digimon, but I admire Agumon for being such a brave little guy and always being prepared to give his own life for Taichi and never gives up no matter the odds, a true friend for life. Only shows how badass he can truly be and show that courage through the power of Wargreymon

The Evolution Sequence was so incredibly high quality veggiemon got tossed like a salad.

@@besterenfan well there where the big fans of Pokémon and then Digimon. I enjoy both growing up specially the first Pokémon movie but I really vibed with the whole Digimon series.

All hail the Godzilla of Digimon! ❤️ 🐉.

Transformations are my favorite concept of any anime/cartoon/show. I also love fusions.

The process of digivolutions are a great way to fill time in an episode.

The details they made of how Metalgreymon just dismantle it self to create the new form of Wargreymon is just perfect, you can se how the helmet turn into its wings/shield, the teeth transform into the chest pieces and so on ❤‍🔥

As much as I loved the warp digivolution I'm glad he got one more naturally.

Wargreymon appeared to save the internet, that why it didn't break due to Veggiemon & it's goons.

I love everything about this retelling!!!

Me too. It was like seeing an old warrior return after being gone for decades. It was so amazing and breathtaking.

why didnt all you digimon nerd tell me how hype this is

and bring Wargreymon for super smash bros ultimate aswell, despite being too tall! atleast a proper Agumon that could evolve with the B move.

I would like a more "instant swap/evolution" like with the Pokemon Trainer. Basically, you can swap between Agumon/Greymon/WarGreymon with "down B". (MetalGreymon would fit more as an assist trophy IMO)

Yall complaining and it shows none of you guys have watched the original digimon adventure. But I'm glad you guys are experiencing it with cooler transformations

My god the artwork in this episode was insanely good 😍

Still a top tier fan favorite Digimon line.
